i just came across this video today on Instagram:

looks like he exposed a quick automation method to grow shorts channels:

ever seen a lot of shorts related to Joe Rogan and other famous channels?
channels like those types and motivation channels are usually monetized because they create highlights from the main channels, edit them, add captions, and potentially add some music too.

now this practise is prevalent on yt, tiktok and ig.
these clips go viral on all platforms.

the guy in the video i linked, exposes an AI site that can fully get the task done for you automatically.
you first place a url to a famous video (example: joe Rogan), and the ai scans it, takes important and interesting parts from the video, creates a short video with those highlights, adds captions and auto edits the video.
then it generates description and hashtags automatically for you.

all work done by ai.
good way to grow shorts channels and monetize them and perhaps even sell those channels.

And now it's going to be saturated as hell

it may even take multiple months for them to find a way to battle it.

There are multiple tools that does this and it has been around for a LONG time. Nothing is getting patched and it's already saturated so your point is redundant.

It won't get saturated any soon.
This has been around for too long and still working.
While the number of people taking action after reading this method is usually low so least chances of saturation anytime sooner.

I'm aware that multiple tools have been around for this, but most of them involved you having to use different tools to get results.
most of the publicly known tools weren't able to do all of the stuff that this tool could do in one place (as far as I'm aware).

i already know that you could use different tools to get such results in the past, but that involved more time.

and if there were tools available, that could do exactly this, atleast it was not as popular as pictory, so I am assuming some people had private tools. I'm mostly referring to publicly known tools which is as popular as pictory, elevenlabs etc.
so now this is made public so everyone can easily use it.

so since you said multiple tools were available that could do this, go ahead and list them for me. let's see what they can do or if they have exactly the same function. if they have vastly different functions or different types of results, then it wouldn't be the same.

getting patched wasn't part of my original post. when someone talked about that below, I replied to them and expressed doubt that it could.
there's usually this trend in the past where, when something gets too accessible and easy, such that everyone can spam it with such ease, these social media companies usually bring about changes.

And now when you say that "nothing is getting patched" are you absolutely sure?, because that's a bold claim and you don't know the future.
Or maybe you can provide your rationale as to why you think it won't get patched.

i know, but now it will be even more saturated when viral videos are talking about it, making it more accessible to the general public, where every random can spam it.
usually these methods were used by some groups of people and it's not like they talked much about it to the general public to make it so easily accessible.

So, now we will see even more Joe Rogan than ever before.

Yeah, you can do this but the chances are someones already shared the same clips, therefore the platform you use will see this as reused content and you won't go viral. Worse still, TikTok will label it as unoriginal and it'll be suppressed within the algorithm.

how will it be reused though?
when youtube talks about reused content, they're usually referring to direct copying or making mere compilation videos without much editing or transformation involved.

but the videos produced by this tool, mentioned in my original post, have sufficient transformation to pass the "reused content" policy.
it adds new music, voice over, captions, edits etc.

anytime someone narrates over a video, who's intent is to add informational or educational value, automatically passes the "reused" content policy.

what usually counts as reused content is, duplicate videos with minor changes, or, compiling and stitching clips together to make mere compilations such as, football compilations, car crash compilations, meme compilations, funny videos compilation, movie scenes compilation, etc.

Whilst that's good I still doubt it will edit it enough without needing further manual editing. TikTok is really strict at the moment. Using that service isn't going to deliver a magic bullet solution.

this ai is going to judge and find interesting and key parts from the youtube url, like a podcast.
it then edits and auto creates a video for you.
now podcast clips can usually add a little bit of commentary at the beginning of the video to highlight what it's going to be about, before playing back the whole clip. they just add this little bit of an intro commentary at the beginning to bypass the reused content policy.

now remember that this tool is not limited to podcast clips alone. you can take any video from youtube, and it'll be able find interesting parts from that to create shorts with those highlights + voice over.

Nah! There were already many ai tools like opus pro for this, that's why you see so many clips like these. If you search for opus pro alternatives, you can find many ai online tools.

Wasn't widely discussed here on blackhatworld, which is why i decided to share. There are plenty of people in the general public who aren't aware.
I remember seeing many posts by people on here asking about shorts automation bots or how to get them coded, but the problem is the answers they got were usually not AI powered bots, but rather python based.
These AI ones are even better, which is why i shared, since many people have asked this question earlier already and didn't get proper answers.

I see. Those who do it, do it quietly. There's not much strategy here other than hoping it sticks. This is kind of repost strategy. People clips podcasts, comedy shows, those OF girls talks and others. Automation tools only helps to scale. Good for shorts, difficult to go into long form from other people's content. Many fail to get view on their long videos.

I understand everything you shared and appreciate it may help out AI starters. But we're discussing this tool not others. Regardless, I believe I made a pretty good point above, which I'll post below too:

So yes you can ask it to break down other niches besides podcasts but the reality is this, 101 other YouTubers have likely done the same thing thus rendering yours useless 99.9% of the time, as it will be labled as unoriginal/reused.

So yes you can ask it to break down other niches besides podcasts but the reality is this, 101 other YouTubers have likely done the same thing thus rendering yours useless 99.9% of the time, as it will be labled as unoriginal/reused.

The majority of youtubers aren't going to be successful anyway, just like how the majority of the population aren't rich, and there's only a tiny fraction of the population that's considered rich.

So next thing i wanted to add:
there's content that works and content that doesn't.
But even with content that works, if 1000 channels try exactly the same thing, not everyone is going to necessarily succeed or go viral because there is some randomization to the algorithm.

all we are trying to do here is, to increase our probability of success by using the type of content that is mostly known to work, and gets high viewer retention (like podcast clips).

No it won't be labeled as unoriginal or reused. this statement holds true as of the current state of youtube. taking other's video clips so long as you add informational or educational value still passes the reused content policy, and there's no changes made to that policy as of yet, which would cause the labeling such content as "reused".
this type of content is still allowed by YouTube, as of its policies upto 2024.

there are plenty of brand new channels still being created, making such kinds of videos and they are managing to go viral without problems.

there are so many shorts channels who are fully in the practise of borrowing trending clips and adding commentary over it.
it's still being done now and they don't face problems with going viral.

where youtube might have a problem is, content that is borderline or spammy.
now I'll have to agree with you that this kind of content to me is spammy and seems quite reused and low effort aswell.
but all I'm doing is informing you about the current objective state of youtube, since I've analyzed it.
channels doing such kind of content are still going viral without problems.
so far it appears that youtube hasn't started penalizing such channels yet.
so until youtube starts doing that, you still have the opportunity to make money.

in order to increase your probability of success with such clips, make multiple channels on different virtual machines or phone devices with different ips, and upload these clips to them.
it's very likely that one of the channels will go viral and do way better than others (just like lottery luck).

Nice one, I've been thinking of doing that (mass uploading short videos clips of podcasts) with subtitles and voice over in my native language.

Interesting, I managed to grow a TikTok account two years ago but it's practically ghosted now. My recent experience attempting to grow a clients + my own TikTok again made me think YouTube must be the same.

I guess this is because TikTok are ahead of the game with Shorts, and YouTube are behind thus they're more lenient about the reusage content currently.

The question is how long will it be before YouTube clamp down on it?
