It is worthy to subtitle my entire youtube channel in english? I am from a latin american country and it is very common here for people to read subtitules on media (series, movies, YT videos). Although, people from Spain hates subtitles and consume dubbed content. Americans: do they read subtitles What is your opinion? Please vote!

i heared Netflix tryed to mix things in Narcos (english speaking + subtitles)
but purely subs.. i don't thing they enjoy them, like other part of the world

There are millions of people all over the earth that can’t hear well. You should be including subtitles for those people (if you are going to include subtitles) irrespective of individual preference or nationality.

Subtitles allow you to get into recommendations. They are search keywords. And yes. Some people automatically read subtitles. For example me.

yes, there are many Americans who watch Japanese anime with subtitles, for example

I´m not american, but I love subtitles at night when people sleep, just turn down the volume and turn on subtitles.

The can be situations where people need subtitles. Like in night when others are sleeping.

Americans aren't used to them. But I have subtitled many videos in english. So I suppose there is a market.

I'm not sure about the rest of America, but I, for one, love reading subtitles even though I am well versed in English and without having to worry about missing anything important!
