Man right as I am about to pull the trigger at buying GSR Ser and various other tools to start my SEO journey I get in a car accident. There was an animal crossing the road and I slow down to let them pass the road, (45 mph speed limit often going 55) 15 seconds later I get hit and my car is pretty totaled. I will be going to a doctor shortly to get examined.

I owe more money on the car than its wroth, about a 2 grand gap.
Other drivers insurance already offered to pay for damages as he was at fault.

    Questions:
Should I still file with my insurance, if the other insurance already offered to pay?
What's the best steps for you guys would recommend, in my situation?

In Florida that would be called a non chargeable accident and would not affect your insurance premiums.

    I would be reporting it.

Also, if you do buy another car with a loan, look into "gap" insurance. That will cover you if you are upside down.

Were the police involved? If the other driver was at fault you 100% should report it.

I agree with the others about reporting it as it wasn't your fault.

Consider investing in a dash camera as well. You can possibly use the footage to back yourself up in the event that the other driver tries to fight with you about who was at fault.

I was in an accident once, where some guy hit me. We both reported it to our insurance. In my case what happened was, that his insurance just paid for my damages (he was at fault), with no issues on my end with higher insurance prices. Sorry about the accident and I hope you are okay. GL.

It seems pretty clear that it was the other guys fault...

I'm assuming, though perhaps wrongly, that you were hit from behind. I'm not sure about your country, but in the countries that I'm familiar with the road rules, if you collide it another vehicle from the rear, it's 100% your fault, automatically.
