Amazon Success - $300 Day Yesterday

Make no mistake about it - selling Amazon Products via Seo Methods is slow in the beginning and hard work - because if your new you need to master several things - like modding themes - which can be very frustrating.

But once you learn it on one or two sites and have some success then you can scale easily - so the payoff comes a little later.

There is no competition between Ultimate Demon and Seo Link Robot - Ultimate Demon is alot better.

The good news about Amazon is they are the market leader and people trust them so once you get going sales will come.

Cheers

great thread Danny!

Ive started working with magento, and I know there are a lot of plugins that will auto import products. But I was wondering if you are rewriting the product descriptions or just concentrating on the category pages?

I've been using TCA to rewrite the descriptions. I just can't seem to get much traffic if I dont do this step. would love to hear your opinion.

I can't add too much on Magento - because nothing I have tried so far has increased Sales ... it's still in trial / error phase

when I find something that does work will report here ... at this stage much more comfortable with WP.

I've written in quite a few Amazon threads encouraging people to put some time
into making sites monetized with Amazon Products.... for the simple reason that as long
as you are not defrauding them - your going to get paid and people like the Amazon Name.

Anyway I've built up a few Amazon Sites and had my first $300 day
yesterday .. so pretty happy about it - given it's a side job to my small Seo Business.

I just want to say that there is nothing special about my sites - standard WP Sites so it just
requires some work in choosing a niche/getting content and creating buying links on the site.

Traffic is all Seo so nothing special there either.

Typically these sites have been making $500-$800 a month - so this is definately not an everyday
commission level - but hopefully can keep building on yesterdays success and raise the bar to a higher
level.

BHW is a great resource - but you actually have to take action to make money.

All the best.

Would you like to sell them out? I can help you with it.

Hey, just wanted to share my experiences. My Amazon site's been online for 2 months now and is currently #1 in Google for the main keyword (Been doing some SEO). I've had about 900 unique visitors this month with bounce rate of 45%. Most people come from Google with main keyword or other relevant ones. Also the main keyword is a buying keyword. I've already got 136 clicks to Amazon (from days 1-9). However, not a single sale. This bugs me. I guess only thing is to wait more. So I just say it takes some time...

there would seem to be something wrong .. if it were me I would change my content slightly so that they are getting what they are looking for - and use more text links.

Danny what are you thoughts about this subject :
You prefer to push the visitor to amazon as soon as possible ? or do u prefer to have them read a review first?

I'm asking since I got a link that gets many clicks, tho I'm not sure the actual link is converting at amazon. it is just my thought since I can't be sure, and I wanted to hear your thoughts here..

How many searches per month (global) has your main targeted keyword?

You have to get them to the point of spending money ... but your website has to give them the information they would need to do that - and also entice them to click something to generate a sale. (so that's why I aways suggest a premium theme to give you the best chance)

Tracking wise - I don't track individual links either but you know what as you get bigger I honestly don't care - I am looking at my overall portfolio more now ....... and the driver of that success is content.

As far as Magento goes - I have not found any shortcuts or ways to boost Sales with those .. still more testing to be done.

"How many searches per month (global) has your main targeted keyword"

this is a pretty stupid question - I have re-organized my sites and now have 42 sites targeting Amazon - targeting hundreds of long tail keywords especially buying terms / reviews and other similar terms.

please read the thread.... thanks

As far as earnings go initially I was targeting 2-3k a month now I am targeting 5-6k a month -- as writing this thread inspired me to do better .. I guess that's why people start so many journey threads.

Update :

I am going to apply my same strategy from Amazon to Adsense and see how it earns.
In the testing phase I will only make 2 sites - 1. Gazette Theme and 2. Heatmap Theme

That way can see which converts better. I will be buying all the articles for the 2 Sites and probably some stock photos
the gazette site is built and has a niche - the other one I haven't decided yet.

This way if someone hates Amazon they might find Adsense easier.

Just working on articles and other small stuff at the moment.

Danny, what Pinterest bot are you using? I see 2 mentioned in this thread.

I use Rickstarrs Bot - PinPioneer (I have 2 licenses - $44.95 + $25)

also downloaded the couple of Moo Bots - only use the commenter at the moment

I bought my accounts from Mr Perfect BST Thread

Use HMA mainly even though I have a few private proxies

and i use AddMeFast to get a few extra followers.

Looking through the PM's I wanted to make one comment.

Amazon is not the first thing you should be doing - especially if you come from a non english speaking country ... even though the ideas in this thread are not that complex - if you don't know the difference between an article and a review - don't know what an EMD is - and don't know where to find templates ---- then I think you need to learn some more first - otherwise your going to lose time/money and probably fail.

You should start with CPA - earn some money -- increase your knowledge - then come back to Amazon later.

Anyone who has started with Amazon from scratch will probably also tell you the same thing -- it's work to get everything set-up -- then you need to work on your Seo and tweak stuff as you go -- plus it does cost money to get started.

Anyway I hope this makes sense and saves some people some headaches/frustration.

Thats about me :)
Why CPA is not good for non English - They can't reach you, or if they reach you, You even can't speak with them because your English knowledge is pretty shitty :D Why I can't start with amazon? I have more time than anyone, I know how to create a website... Just need to learn basics in SEO. I don't said that I'm don't understand nothing but just wanted some explanations...

Why don't you join BassTrackerBoats CPA company - they advertise on this forum and offer support -- I'm sure he would be the first to say that they won't turn down someone just because they aren't from US/UK/Canada.

I personally don't have time to sit down and spend 8 hours a day for a week showing you what to do ---- Amazon requires nice sites / great content and solid Seo work -- and start up capital .... anyway it's up to you to figure it out - I can't do everything for you.

Cheers

900 unique visitors without any sales, seriously? Got to be something wrong here, if you don't mind PM me your site link, I will sure have a look giving you some advices, my niche sites are new, one month old, getting only like 80 - 150 visitors/day, but already make sales and earn ~ $28

Hey boss, are you aware of Amazon new TOS about their association terms? They said that one have to add thing below on site that visible to site visitors, is this true and necessary or not?

"[Insert your name] is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to [insert the applicable site name (amazon.com, endless.com, amazonsupply.com, or myhabit.com)]."

every site I have makes it clear I am an amazon affiliate and I earn commissions if they click a link. (standard)

Pinterest.

This is what I have been doing -- I take two main accounts - and set up 3 bots for the accounts - one to comment one to like and one to follow then I run them 12 hours a day .. then I upload about 30 pins a day per account .... then I also add these two accounts to addmefast

that way they don't just comment 12 hours a day or like 12 hours a day -- the accounts perform a variety of tasks during the day. This takes about 5 minutes a day to do -- maybe 10 at the most.

Next with the rest of my accounts - I pick out the best pin that appeals to me and then like it / comment on it / repin it - everything I can to keep it busy so to speak.

As far as Adsense goes - I was going to buy 50 articles yesterday but have been sidetracked with some company formation/accountancy problems - so it may take a week to sort that out.

Magento sites - made 3 sales in last 5 days - which for me is next to nothing really compared to what the combined WP Sites Sell -- I am still working on how to improve this -- but so far have not found an answer.

Also I am terminating my VA at the end of the month - just not really impressed with the work output / quality -- as I had some test sites I had him set up using -- and honestly for me it's better to do less and focus on quality than do more and have crap work on the web.

Best of luck today.
