I've written in quite a few Amazon threads encouraging people to put some time
into making sites monetized with Amazon Products.... for the simple reason that as long
as you are not defrauding them - your going to get paid and people like the Amazon Name.

Anyway I've built up a few Amazon Sites and had my first $300 day
yesterday .. so pretty happy about it - given it's a side job to my small Seo Business.

I just want to say that there is nothing special about my sites - standard WP Sites so it just
requires some work in choosing a niche/getting content and creating buying links on the site.

Traffic is all Seo so nothing special there either.

Typically these sites have been making $500-$800 a month - so this is definately not an everyday
commission level - but hopefully can keep building on yesterdays success and raise the bar to a higher
level.

BHW is a great resource - but you actually have to take action to make money.

All the best.

Nice job.

Can you say how many visitors your sites are getting daily or how many you got on your $300 day?

Thanks!

a couple of them get 30-50 people a day and some get 300-400 a day .. so they are not large sites at all.
just simple Amazon AutoBlogs and some content.

the reason I wrote the thread was to make people realize you can't make $300 if you don't have a site ready
to sell ... so even if the first attempt doesn't work out - just keep working on it.

I was asked what themes I use - I bought HeatMap and use that - but you can also look in the download section
and grab some from there until you start making some money.

Amazon is not a fast way to make money - it takes a few months to get going - but it's not like these CPA
companies that don't pay - and that's a good thing.

hi Danny

i have few questions, im too thinking of starting with Amazon , ppl trust Amazon and they have great products ...

So questions:
1. Do you use blogger or .com with hosting ?
2. how many products per site ?
3. 1 nich or more ?
4. do you use EMDs with your sites ?

thanks

I use Wordpress + Hosting
Wp Robot autoposts products
different niches - people buy different things all year - so you need a few sites
EMD's only.

As far as structure goes - depends on your content - I don't use Videos I probably
should - but I wanted simple so when I found something that worked I could scale.

You just got to find a style of site that suits your content and your visitors... Good Luck.

just read the shit list - there are always complaints about CPA companies not paying.
my point being ignoring Amazon and just doing CPA is probably not the best as a long term strategy.

Are your sites basically 'fake' review sites where you're essentially just promoting the highest earning products to get the best commission rates? As for the auto posting products can you explain that? And one final question if you don't mind, what sources is your traffic coming from?

They are not "Fake" Review Sites - some have PLR Rewritten Reviews and some are products I actually own.

I prefer articles myself - but if you prefer reviews then go with that. Different Niches require slightly different
approaches ... so summary : my sites are not 100% review sites - some have reviews some do not.

Traffic Source - Google / Yahoo

Link Building - I use Ultimate Demon as my base and in the sites themselves they have WP Plugins to do all the basic
structure work..... prior to owning UD just used various tools that did similar things .. but I like UD for these types
of sites as an all in one.

They have as wide a variety of links as possible with a variety of anchor text as can be.

You also have to remember my sites are older than 3 months - I don't think its really likely you start an Amazon
site tomorrow and start making $10 a day in the next week .. it takes some time to develop... get traffic.

Nov-Jan are the biggest Sales months so best to build your sites now prior to that - if your interested in Amazon Sites.

Just keep in mind I am not the Amazon expert - yesterday I made $300 which was the largest day to date - just moreso
to show that there is money to be made in it... and its worth doing... so take some action.

Someone Pm'd me a site they use and its not working for them - the problem imo - is that the site looks terrible - you need
some premium theme - laid out more professionally - with more attractive graphics.

Go look over on Flippa for example and see if anyone is selling an Amazon based site and see what they did - and check their
earnings they are claiming - get some ideas from that.

Cheers
