Amazon Success - $300 Day Yesterday

Content : I don't add new articles for each site each month. I bought 8 articles today for a site generating money - to keep it generating money... as I said products rise and fall during the year.... I adapt... keep costs in proportion to revenue.

Time spent is decreasing due to more cash flow - more outsourcing - focus more on conversions / ideas

Future : 2 more VA's --- build new sites in new niches... keep up to date.

I cannot answer every question you have the way you want it answered - we are in two different positions - you are trying to budget at the level my project is now - not where it started - and the budget it had then.... everyone has to start somewhere and build from there.

Ok I hope I got everything this time. cheers

As far as your question about buying a site with traffic -- I just wouldn't because it's not hard to build something if you have the time .. and who can trust the statistics anyway ?

That's why I said in this thread - build yourself 10 or 20 sites to protect yourself as niches rise and fall and products go up and down.

Anyway that's it for me for today - check tomorrow and see what's up .. good luck.

Hello!
Nice post, congrats!

I've read the threat and have one question. You said you have 150 Pinterest Accounts. I've seen in the same forum that you can only use 2 accounts with one proxy if you don't want to be banned.
Proxies are quite expensive, where do you get your 50-75 proxies?

Thanks!

Danny
Thank you so much for this thread. It's extremely informative and to the point. I am in the middle of preparing all the bits I need to launch a site and have spent most of the evening reading your thread and making a stack of notes. I have some spare cash so I can afford to cheat and have a site made for me (from over at the other place *cough cough*) which I will be using as a test. Am looking at using wpzonbuilder just for pulling in the info but plan on doing a lot more work manually creating original content etc and then using some of the tools you have mentioned. I am also researching the various tools you mentioned as I wasn't aware of their existence and now it's tough deciding which ones I need and which ones I want. Of course I want them all but being quite time poor I don't have the spare time to learn how to use some of these properly....so I have to be ruthless at this point.

Once the site is up and running I will share my results. Crossing fingers here ;-)

One of the reasons that income is fluctuating would be due to peoples expenditure...tax refund time - more $ to burn....school fees time..tighter spending patterns ...but that's just my hunch.

Keep up the great work :-)

Pinterest - I have 12 private proxies from Un3ral $19 a month (BST Thread - with Coupon)
and I have a yearly HMA Subscription - which costs $55 if you buy through your affiliate link.

(HMA is really good for lots of things - except gmail/youtube)

Budgets/Tools - I know it's a huge tradeoff and like I said when I started this I had very little and did most manually - did everything to keep costs low until money started to come in .... I think like you said - make a list - see what each does - use any free trials - and go with what can save you the most time and get you the best rankings.

If your budget is tiny then as I also mentioned maybe just make a simple store and use Pinterest/FB/Twitter just to get you started.

Even if you buy a site - try to modify it so it's not the same as other sites they are building.

Good Luck Today

Also to cash out your HMA affiliate income you need to make 2 sales - yours and one more - I just send out one press release with my affiliate link in it and someone always buys 1 subscription -- so that's how I do that .. as I am sure someone will mention that if I don't .. :)

Thanks for the tip about HMA and the affiliates..guess that makes choosing my next tool purchases easier...the doc marketing robot...am also trying to choose between Zenno and UD right now as well whilst researching EMD.

Will be purchasing a premium theme modded for amazon purposes (I will attempt to modify it further myself) which will work with the wpzon builder. I am still in 2 minds about that plugin but that is where I am with that right now. I have a hosting account which doesn't get used as much as it should, but one of the forums I am a member of people there have discussed Magento as not ideal for E-commerce.

great to hear that...but I'm thinking about the eligibility of the guys to compete for that...but,usually that would be a great chance..

WP Vs Magento -- If I was making my first site it would be WP - as I know it will make money. Magento is more to diversify yourself I think unless you really get a runaway hit store ... make some money first then get a Magento Store later on.

Also alot of things mentioned can be used for lots of things not just this project .. so keep that in mind.

Danny,

Do you build buffer sites for your money pages? If not, have you ever contemplated the idea or even think it's a good idea to protect you from the next Google algorithm change? The reason why I'm asking is because I was looking into drip feeding services and they seem to recommend this strategy.

Thanks again for helping out the community. I'm still working on my first page still :)

Hey Danny111 great thread. I was wondering how is that $150/month VA working out for you? Thats pretty cheap for a VA. Are you having just do manual posting or does he know how to use any seo programs? Thanks and good luck on your sites

I use Buffer Sites .... Honestly as you can see if you have followed the thread - I try everything see what works and what doesn't and implement it across my other sites once I see the result.

The VA - well there's good and bad with paying a VA $150 -- the good - he does the work - he sends the report.
the bad - he does the absolute minimum work - so for example the job I have him doing takes 15minutes to complete each time -- but he only does 10 tasks in 8 hours - and instead of being 100% as good as it could - its about 65%..... so yeah its worth it but it is not ideal.

And on Fridays - he says its Friday don't feel like working today LOL.... I'm from the USA so the mentality is different...... I think you can see what I am talking about - VA's have value but they don't work hard/provide quality all the time.

Update:

Big Buddy's BST traffic went through a test site I set up - and I got 1 Sale - lost small amount altogether - but will be interesting in coming days to see what happens with the Site.

Also set up the WP Commander Beta - Where you load your WP Sites in it - by adding a plugin to the site - and you can manage all the sites from one interface -- you get 50 sites free - was pretty handy to update to the newest WP version that came out.... suggest anyone with 10 or more sites to give it a try.

Pinterest

Don't want to buy a bot - but want to get started somehow - check out Moobots in the download section or add a .com to that and check out the website ... simple bots but something to start with to help make you some money - Cost = Free

Danny
Could I ask your advice? Following your method and I am trying to decide whether to purchase Ultimate Demon or SEOlink robot. Both have their advantages and I can't decide which one to get.

Just found a low comp buyer KW with 5400 exact searches a month!!! After penguin devastated all my other amazon sites this will be my second new one. Starting work on it right now!
