Is anyone using specific copywriting or persuasion techniques in their reviews? Fear, limited time only, limited quantities, etc

You could test that out. But, I would only create realistic reviews about a product. Think about it from a customer's viewpoint:
- If your copy said there were only 3 items remaining or only available for the next 30 days, then this (IMHO) would need to be fact, and you'd have to display and update current product stock levels and availability.
- If you're copy was misleading the customer, for example the copy said only 3 items left but there are actually 10 remaining, they could check on the actual Amazon site, and you'd lose the customer's trust.

True but something like "this item sells out a lot but right now it's in stock" wouldn't be that misleading.

Danny u've talked about electronics fee being capped at 25$ regardless of the sale price- that's not true, I've made 29.7$ on a sale yesterday and had another one for 27$, I can prove it if u'd like...

HI Danny,

Thanks for sharing your success story.

I am also starting to gain some momentum on Amazon - I earned a few dollars short of 500 last month from Amazon ;)

I only have about 10 sites, but I'm building 3 this month.

It's a painfully slow process for me as I build them manually - I was under the impression that 'autoposting' plugins don't do well for SEO. I mean, sites that are using autoposting plugins don't rank that well - but you've proven me wrong.

My question is, if you're using the autoposting feature, how do you solve that duplicate content penalty, especially post-panda and penguin??

sorry .. my email server got hacked and took me a week to get back online - as BHW would not let me sign in without resetting my password which was impossible with no email.

Anyway back online now.

Electronics are 4% fixed unless its a PC/Laptop which are capped at $25

well autoplugins that are not spamming products work - but these days you need content more than anything

Anyway will catch up with the thread later .. all the best.

It's look great, Amazon affiliate program is good place to make money, and also the $300 is very good.

well I saw someone say they were using squidoo lenses and were making like $200-$300 a month but they had
like 300 of them ... so yes you could do that... if you want I'm just not sure that would ever get to $2000-$3000 a month
though.

my sites are targetting around $1500-$1600 this month which would be highest to date - and my goal would be
$2000-$3000 every month - so I still got work to do to make that happen.

Summary of this thread so far

1. pick any product or niche and build one site
* use premium theme
* get any amazon autopost plugin
* add content - reviews / articles / videos as well
2. when you make sales tweak your site further to improve conversion - see if makes any difference
3. buy magic submitter / ultimate demon or Se Nuke X and build consistent links the best you can
4. when your making money then repeat the process for more sites until you get what you want in terms
of income.

Tips
* not every site will make money every month - product sales vary so make sure you diversify products
and niches for steady income.
* stick to EMD's
* check out the sample type site in this thread.
* the more automated your sites the more you will need - the more you work at it the less sites you will need
* it's honestly going to take 2-3 months of work to see decent results - so don't get upset if you don't see
sales right away.

That's it and good luck
Cheers

This is a great summary/checklist. Anyone thinking of doing Amazon sites should print it out and for each site start from the top and work through each step. Keep going and remember that product searches vary greatly. I have a site that's focused on portable generators. These are high ticket items (sell for about $700 - 1000) where I maybe get one sale a month. But whenever there's a blackout - huge spike!

wow very nice thread here you have. never knew amazon could be so much money!
Thanks you

Pretty good day yesterday - $2200 in Sales for roughly $150 ish

someone bought 4 $300 items

After a week of hell with server issues nice bounce back .... I hope more people can update with their earnings / experiences so others can get motivated and make some $$$$.

Update :

820.jpg

Basically I have pretty much torn most things apart and completing redoing alot of things as wasn't happy with some but hoping to have 50-60 quality sites operational in 2-3 weeks.... ready for XMAS

Earnings Yesterday $60

Also I bought the Pinterest Bot from Rickstarr - for $44.95 but most likely wont have time to use it for a few weeks... seems pretty easy to use from the 2 minutes I spent looking at it and making an account.

This is a really great thread, thanks for sharing all the tips. I've created my first site and am now looking at getting a premium theme as the free one in use sucks right now. I created the site before I had read anything about EMDs so its probably not going to be a big earner for me but I might as well continue it anyway, I can use it as a good way to learn about creating websites as I'm very new to it (plus I've already written and posted around 4000 words of completely unique content on it).

About the premium theme downloads from here, how much trouble can you get into for using one? I want this site to be known for more than just an Amazon shop as it's content is guides/reviews/videos, so I don't want to be suspended from my web host or blocked from Wordpress (if that's even possible?)

Thanks again for your contributions.

If you have the money just buy the one you like .. if not just use one from the Download section and when you make some money - Buy It

Some people just don't have the start-up capital to buy everything starting out.

I'm stuck in a niche atm and have no $ to do anything else. Gratz and keep going.

congrats op, i read someone is asking if he can rank review sites or not, of course you can, those sites are ranked easlly but they have to be well optimized

Honestly this is not that hard - it may seem that way when you have never done it before but --

I am not the best site designer in the world - I just use some premium theme and mod it the best I can
I am not the greatest Seo Guy in the world - but I realize you need diversity and you need to be consistent - so that's what I do

and I am making money at this.... so take some action and do the best you can.... that's really all I can say.

Yep very true for me, I don't have much more than $100 to play around with as I'm a poor student. Hopefully will be making some money in a few months to come back and share my progress.
