Amazon Success - $300 Day Yesterday

Thanks for reply, iam very new to this, but how do i write reviews about all the physical products if i dont own them.
I mean, one option could be rewrite reviews from the internet, what other option are there else?

I've understand a lot about this method but this one point about the reviews wont get out of my head.

* you can buy reviews (PLR) from Warrior Forum for $5 or $10 and re-write them (see link in this thread)
* you can pay someone to write a review for you
* you can purchase the product and write a review
* you can read the amazon reviews and write your own review

this is another reason to make your first site about something you know.

(and I thought there was a thread on BHW yesterday where someone shared reviews of 1500 products - maybe check that out)

You could also 'copy' reviews providing you keep within the TOS; basically you need to link to the original review(s).

So you could copy the review(s) text (or create an image of the review(s)), providing it had a link to the Amazon review(s). Although, copying the text would have no SEO benefit, as it's effectively duplicate content.

Anyone have any more feedback on how it's going for them ?

What sites do you like better WP or Magento ?
How long did it take you to make sales ?
What works better for you -- reviews or articles ?
How is your traffic developing ? Hard/Easy/Longtail -- Rankings ?
Any Templates you prefer working with more than others ?
PlugIns - anyone found something they like better than the main ones ?

I'm sure it's gotten bit boring reading my stuff - so hope some people can jump in with their experiences.

This is probably a dumb question or my misunderstanding
I presume all your sites are similar to a1 rated gadgets dot com and you use wp robot to generate the site
Is there any unique content on this site ? Or does it all come from Amazon?

I presume you need to write articles to be used ultimate demon to get some link juice

My sites were all auto-blogs and they were making like $400-$600 a month
Then I started adding content - and changing things up and my earnings went to $600-$1800 a month
Now I am testing new sites / adding more content / making some Magento sites - and looking for $2000-$3000 a month
of fairly easy income.

Since I started doing that I had a $312 day several $100 + days and things are looking good.

Thanks for answering the questions above - and something for everyone to consider in choosing how to build their sites - to make them unique and not just standard sites.

I am also looking at more security on my WP Sites - installed the free wp firewall 2 and will be purchasing the Bulletproof security Pro for $49
just to do more to protect my sites.

I want to thanks the Op for helping us all without expecting anything in return. This is truly a kind of thread which makes you come back to this forum again and again. I also PMed Danny about some of my sites and got a very prompt and good reply, very fast even when he would be answering lots of PMs due to the popularity of this thread.

I sincerely thank Danny for giving so much without any expectation.

Thanks for the extra info on security - something I will note more as my project gets bigger.

Yes I had alot of PM's and I tried my best to answer everyone who PM'd me - sometimes they did not get the answer they wanted - ie wanting me to do stuff for them - but I think 95% understand that.

Well I have been using HeatMap - but as another member points out - really you need to mod everything and make it different from what everyone else is doing - otherwise you may get penalized.

I really appreciate some members giving this a try and getting things done -- especially those that can post some feedback and their own experiences ... if you have read most posts you will see both myself and others have said sales tend to start around the 2-3 month mark - so don't get discouraged.

At the moment I am tied up with my Magento sites trying to get those moving - and getting them to make some money (hopefully)

The last thing I want to say is this : Nov / Dec / Jan your sales double or triple usually - so take action .. get your sites ready and work on the Seo - hopefully we all get a nice pay check at the end of the year.

Tried making an Amazon review site once. Failed Miserably SOB.. :( . It was SEO that killed it. Couldnt do proper optimization. Congrats OP.

Anybody know what happened to the Magento - Amazon Script. I was finally going to put it to use today and now it is gone. Did it get moved?

For those who want to get started with Magento-Amazon -

Here is the free script that is used to build these sites - this is the same one that I have sold in the BST; and also being sold by another seller.

Magento Theme Thread is here:

Hi Danny,

Thanks for responding about which theme you use.

I have another question for you, do you ever struggle to out rank amazon for products? I have a great emd with 3,600 local searches I am going to try and develop, but I noticed that amazon are currently ranking first for the term.

outranking Amazon is not hard - but you have to realize you can't start a brand new website and do it in the first couple of months .. you need to build up your website first.

also you have to consider long tails and if they are a better option first - these are all things you have to decide upon.

I have 8 Magento Sites pretty much done now - working on 5 more with Jarehan over the next few days - will be interested to see how their rankings compare to WP Sites ....

If you really need Magento Themes and can't find them anywhere - they are only something like $100 for 10 or 15 -- I know for some people that maybe alot of money -- but Amazon Sites are an investment so it's better to have some capital to play with entering this type of site.

Best of Luck and please keep posting your experiences / successes and failures - I think it adds alot of value to this thread.

it actually reminds me abit of the cookware site I posted earlier in the thread.
