    Hi,

I am new to Amazon and affiliate programs and I have wondered about a topic where we can come up with concerns whether an act is forbidden or not in the eyes of Amazon Affiliate program. I haven't found a topic which would be general regarding Amazon.
I already have a concern when you apply as an affiliate for amazon you should add your site(s).

    1.
The question is am I legit if I put my amazon links in other places then the site(s) which I have added when I applied to the program. For example I added xyz.com and Amazon approved my application I put link on that page and I send traffic from here xyz.com but I also put links to abc.com and I send rtaffic from both sites. Is it against their TOS? Will I get banned after a while due to this?

    2.
My second question will I get a commission when the user first visit amazon then finds my site where the user click on my affiliate link and go back to amazon? Will I get commission if the user do this for example in a hour?

comments and answers appreciated a much thanks in advance

1 : The source of the click must have those Amazon disclaimers and make sure it's clear that it's an affiliate link. They'll probably pay a visit to check.

2 : Yes, if the conversion came from your link you'll make $

Thanks for your answer I appreciate it very much!
So If I put my affiliate link on another site they will ban or that will not count in?
After the application approved can I add additional sites to my existing store?
If I have another site where I want to place amazon affiliate links I have to create a new store application? So I will have two active stores which belongs two different sites, is that the legal way to do it?

Once you have been excepted into the Amazon program there is a space on your affiliate page where you can enter additional websites I would recommend entering any additional websites to avoid any problems but you do not need to do anything else as far as I know once you are excepted you can add to your links to other websites but they do give you a place to enter all your associated websites in your affiliate back end pages.

The duration of the Amazon cookie is usually 24 hours but depending on how you have your website set up it could be longer.

    Best of luck!

If these sites belongs to you then it's fine as long as you put Amazon affiliate disclaimer message. But carefully if you plan to put Amazon links in third party sites like Youtube or Facebook. I know some say they haven't had a problem but still it's a risky thing.
