Amazon Product Scraper?

Hey Everyone!

Till now I had been using OPF for scraping information like the Price, Title, ASIN and Lowest price of some books that I sell.

But now I can't get it to work anymore.

Are there any alternates to OPF for Scraping such info from Amazon? Even if paid?

you can use their API instead of scraping

How do you do that? Won't it still require a software or something to retrieve the info using the API?

there is a great wordpress plugin:
WPZonBuilder

but to you can write your own script/app to use amazon's api

I second wp zonbuilder just coz of its simpilicity wp robot is complicated for newbies

Yeah I'll agree with that - WP-Robot can be a bitch to set up with their shit mess of category codes, but once you've got that nailed it's plain sailing and works a treat. Not tried out zon - will give that a look at.

Best bet is to use Amazon MWS api. The only catch is you need a valid seller account and they throttle the number of requests per second you can do. We use it for over 20k products per day and have no issues.

Zon Asin Hunter I took the plunge to buy even though I couldn't find many review on it. It actually works very well, fast loading and can list anything from price, asin, in stock, selling rank, and i think a total of 16 product details? If I'm not mistaken. It's fairly good. Now I'm just looking for a good automatic pricing updater to go along with it.
