amazon popup

My friend joined amazon program a month ago and making some money ($300/day) from popup ads, which he knows is prohibited, but he change the referers, so he hope they won't notice. The question is not about the ethic part, but about payment - there is a huuuuge gap between sale made and commission received.
Is there a chance that if amazon didn't banned him after a few days of popup ad, they will do it after 60 days, right before the payment shall be?

Or if they continue to accept his traffic and don't send him notification e-mails all he has to do is just wait?

ok, just in case anybody wonder - i was banned, despite i really changed every refferers. was doing approx $500-$1000 a day before ban. So you'd better not to cheat on amazon Or do it cleverer than me
