Amazon Poly TTS. Monetizable?

I am planning to start a compilation top 10 channel (yep, I know I am late to the party, but i wanna give it a try).

I already figured out how to mass produce videos taken from tiktok using youtube-dl, tiktok-dl and Ffmpeg.

I know that is not enough for monetization, so I will add some funny faces (human) on the corner reacting to each video.

My problem is ... how to add a voice (not mine). I am thinking of Alexa Poly to generate it and then filter it to add some distortion.

What do you think? Can something like that be monetizable?

You need an actual human voice. Computer generated voices (TTS) are not monetizable anymore.
 
You can monetize with TTS, I'm sure. Use the search box, there was unique TTS software that was shared sometime ago. It sounds like human voices
 
When u use TTS it will either accepted for few months or u will get demonitized after 1,2 month
one more issue is the music in the video gets claimed by music distributors so the channel won't surive if it depends on ads

No, it's not possible to monetize these videos - even though Amazon Polly's synthesized language is a good quality, YouTube does have filters to spot such channels (or manually reviews) and will demonetize you on the long run. Infamous are those Reddit pastas.. ;) (would suggest checking out a few of those threads)
 
I think it depends on the quality and how you use them. Search Captain Gizmo on youtube. He's been monetizing TTS for years. Including Google's wavenet.

So far your commentary is unique And the voice has good quality i think you should be okay. I've seen channels with terrible voices still monetized. I did a similar stuff but i was demonetized over misleading title. I tried to click bait but it backfired.
 
Ok, I can work without voice with just text on the screen.
 
You can do whichever pleases you. But make sure you stay within community guidelines. I wasn't demonetized because of TTS. If you knew about Google deep video intelligence you'd probably understand what I'm saying. Don't be afraid to try anything.
 
Firstly, TTS is NOT prohibited for Youtube monetization. It is the spam (mass produce) using TTS which is not allowed.

So it is not the TTS alone that make you got rejected or demonetized, it simply because of your content considered as spammy no-value content.

In your case, I won't worry about the TTS yet if I were you. You want to mass produce content from other platform and or other creators on Youtube. Well, God speed and good luck.

You're right. But in my own case. It was as a result of clickbait title. Next day after demonetization my other videos still had ads but the particular infringing video doesn't. Also, a fresh channel in my niche created September 2020 got monetized with compilation without commentary. Just put people's videos together and boom got approved. He's been going viral with every upload.
 
pretty sure it's not going to monetize...even if monetized, the channel won't survive with such videos.
 
No, you won't get approved. Your visual content is a compilation fro tiktok, which is reused content...but TTS audio is fine on original content

Yes!! It’s possible to get monetized with tts. I have 1 channel I got approved the other 1 ice bought it.

AskReddit tts is not possible because it’s spam. And way to easy.
But memes tts channel it works if u change the type of video and content.
Its so annoying that people say no just because they just talk out of their ass and demotivating other people for trying.

Thank you very much for your words! Yes, I am on it. Today I started a TikTok compilation channel without TTS. 70% of tasks are automated, and I am tunning my processes to reach at least 90%. If I get to 90%, then I will start including some more stuff like TTS and special animations.

What did you mean with "if u change the type of video and content" in memes tts channel?

Right now I am cropping TikToks (getting rid of the watermark), resizing and filling the sides to reach 16:9 with a blured version of the video. And them add my own watermark. Will this be enough?
