[EXPERIMENT]-Youtube Journey By using Text To Speech Voice Over

I've read everywhere that a Youtube channel won't be monatized if Computer generated voice is used in videos. But I've seen some channels that are using computer generated voice over and are monatized and making money. One of those channels just posted a new video 12 hours ago and they've already started another channel a month back and monatized it.

If such channels are not profitable and not makiing money from adsense then then why their owners would continue making new videos. Well I'll see for myself whether I'll get monatized or not.

Any way I'll now start two channels, and see for my self what happens with them.


Plan

1. To create channel where I'll upload all videos with Computer generated voice overs. The videos will be made from images and ten seconds clips so as to use fair copyright clause of youtube copyright policy.

2. To create second channel where I'll upload videos with my own voice . The videos will be made from images and ten second clips.

Targets to Achieve:

1. To get Channels Monatized

2. To reach $100

3. To Reach $500

4. To Reach $1000

5. To Reach $5000


Plan of Action

To post 4 videos daily on each channel. Total 8 videos

Research- by me

Voice over to be done by machine on one channel

Second channel voice over --- by me

Thumbnails to be done by my friend who'll get 10% share from adsense income when it'll start,

Video editing to be done by me.


I've made two channels and today I'll complete the channel art and other settings etc. I'll be updating the thread with data as it starts to come from tomorrow or day after tomorrow.

the quality of your TTS is everything.. do you have a good service?

I hate those types of videos I tap out immediately, but that is just me i need to have that connection with a creator and a bot is not giving me that!

How do you make money if youtube doesn’t monetization for this kind of contents?

I am starting too and Every Video will be with Captions.
Working on my First video and i am also using TTS but i don't think it's bad.
Anyway Which niche you are Targeting ?

I've always thought it was nonsense that these type of videos can't get monetised. There's no real difference to similar videos that just have text on screen delivering the message, like a lot of news channels I see. Ultimately, it will come down to the quality of the videos. If they look low quality or spammy, they are far less likely to get monetized.

Thanks. i guess if you change the voice a little bit more with a program you can make it sound even better.

I used sony vegas. Its pretty simple just take a screenshot of a reddit post, put in in sony vegas, add a looping video to the backgrround, and use this tool for the voice over. https://text-to-speech-demo.ng.bluemix.net/

I'm not gonna make bland videos. I'm just using the above services to go along with the script I'll use.

For video editing I'll use VSDC video editor. I want to keep things simple so that anyone who don't know Adobe premier can use VSDC to make his own videos for his/her channel.

That's what I want to see and check because like i said in my main post there are channels that monatized.

My videos won't show any text on screen. I have different plan.

I've always been interested in this type of video, I follow.

The video example is pretty good by the way and TTS voice is pretty decent.

Some people publish their own songs posing as a different entity, use those songs in their videos and then copyright claim the videos as that entity, youtube then automatically turns on monetization regardless whether the channel has it enabled or not and then you collect the money through the song publisher entity. I'm sure there may be other tricks to monetize videos.

I will try this method in the next week or so and I’ll post my results, thanks for the idea.
