    Hi guys,

I've been off and on with the idea of using some sort of Amazon WordPress plugin such as WP-Turbo or WP-Robot and incorporate Amazon products into some sort of Amazon store-type theme like BasicZone (looks good) but here's my situation..

I'm trying out WP-Turbo on a site that is not even public.. it's internal right now and been getting the stupid AWS API limit:
[API Failed] Amazon API request failed. API Error: (AccountLimitExceeded), Account limit of 2000 requests per hour exceeded.

So my thought is that if it's not even PUBLIC, then the API account limit will not even be feasible once I send some traffic to it and get it ramped up. It's probably not a legit copy of WP-Turbo, so being internal to test before it's purchased, is probably a very inefficient plugin or someone modified it to use their API instead of my own... hard to tell. I won't put it into production unless I have my own license for sure.

I have 3 separate ideas/niches that I need to launch sooner than later because I've now locally parked them and don't want to lose my PR and authority:
    1. Tech Publications site (all electronics, reviews, press releases, etc.) on a nice PR 5 site that has to get re-designed ASAP. Had it registered since 1995!! WTF!! Talk about procrastination.. now it will be an affiliate site since I no longer want it to just be a lame few pages about technical publications and how to do it... need to make some $$ now. Turned it up internally with FlexSqueeze theme but not sure what to use for aff.

    2. A hydroponic-type website that will sell grow lights and other shit to pot smokers that want to grow in their own place... kinda like what wegrowstore is doing, but with my own domain that is a PR 1 and registered since 1997. I had it for something else recently that didn't do much and some hooker from CA called to buy it... looked her up on the net and found that she was basically a drug dealer busted with bags of money and dope that was released (good atty I suppose)... which got me to think "why" she wanted this name and thus.. it's an excellent brand for selling hydroponic / plant growing shit! With some states opening up the ability to grow your own pot, this might be a good niche. Amazon has a few good hydro stores, but a drop-ship might also work well.

    3. Edible Creation type website where people can buy chocolate covered yummy stuff.. Domain is PR 6 and registered for 8 years. A site that I like is goldenedibles but their wholesale program sucks ass because they will not call you back on their drop-shipping services. I have a lot of previous inbound links and I turned it down to just something lame recently because it wasn't making any $$ and will look at drop-shipping for this.

So here's my questions... anyone here actually automating a process for drop-shipping services? Are the affiliate-type WP plugins worth it? From my Amazon API call limit, and other things I've been reading (Amazon is trying to get Affiliates to move to an aStore) I'm thinking Amazon isn't where it's at.

I need some advice I suppose... I'm willing to put the time/$$ into development to get these launched in the next few months, but need to go in the right direction. All three sites are locally parked now and need to obviously do something sooner than later before I start losing my PR and authority.

    Thanks,
    CM

For hydrophonic type website check this
    Code:
    http://www.dealzer.com/servlet/the-template/AffiliateProgram1/Page
its affiliate program over CJ, with high payouts.

For Amazon plugin that is doing all the job for you check WP Zon Builder,
    Code:
    http://www.mediafire.com/?v1uuc8phpw02hsm
, this is version 2.5b, if you decide to invest in version 2.5f and share it here for nulling I support you :)

Also, check amazon tos, they are going wild lately with their suspending and closing accounts for stupid things.

Thanks for the reply... as far as WP Zon Builder, and with the amazon tos and api limits, is it even worth going down this road?

Also, the hydro site is ok, but I think i'm looking more for a drop-shpping or a solution that I can integrate (pull an xml feed of products daily or import via ftp, etc.) maybe use OpenCart or something .. but the automation on the "order" process by fulfilling it via the dropshipper is what I'm missing... that and finding a supplier that will dropship.

I'll check out the latest WP Zon Builder and if I get it, I'll post it here for nulling.

Is worth it, just stay away from cookie stuffing and cloaking and whatever. Api limits shouldn't concern you, there is no way that you can hit limit with wp zon builder.
Not in drop-shipping, cant help there.
