I have got the Amazon Merch account and managed to sell some tshirts as well.
But in reality I suck at it.

So, I have the account, I have some designing skills as well. Or we can use yours.
All you got to do is to sell the tshirts.

If you need Ad accounts, I will provide them.

If you are pricing your shirts at 19.99, you get just under $8 commission. You expect someone to run ads on 3.2 dollars per t shirt told (40%) AND help you come up with designs that sell?

I am selling thousands of shirts through merch per month and this is insane. Not to mention you will get organic sales anyways.
