Amazon Merch Hack

This is my first thread! Hope it helps.

I applied for a merch account a few days ago and was accepted almost instantly. The problem I faced immediately was the number of shirts I could have live at one time because I am on tier 1.

Basically, I can only have 10 designs live on Amazon on tier 1 and I can only upload 1 design a day. So I would need 10 days to get my designs up and wait until I am upgraded to tier 2 to add more.

I realized though that the merch dashboard takes a few seconds to update the status (how many designs I can upload per day).

So I tried this out and it works. Under tier 1 I have more than 10 designs uploaded and live at once.



This is what I did:

A. Upload your design and complete all the steps until you are ready to publish. BUT DO NOT PUBLISH YET!

B. Repeat the above with your second design in a new tab. BUT DO NOT PUBLISH YET!

C. Now you should have a few designs ready to be published. Now, click on each of the publish buttons in each tab for each design as fast as you can.



You should now have more designs uploaded and under review that tier 1 would usually allow.


This method also allows you to publish more than just one design a day as the tier 1 would limit you to do.


Have fun merching! I think it is only a question of time before amazon realizes this and fixes the bug.

Be careful with gaming AMZ. This "trick" has been around for quite some time and people have been banned by exploiting this.
There is a reason why you can only upload 10 designs. If you do your research and have nice designs you should have no problem getting out of T10 quickly.
Just focus on trending topics for now, they will sell faster and more frequently than evergreen ones.

I have one sale so far. Did no marketing or bought any ads at all. Luck I guess

Same here. T500+ is a pain in the ass. That's why I don't invest a lot of my time into MBA.

Can you give us an example of design based on trends(not recent, but something that worked this year maybe)?
I'm a noob in Merch, noob in research&create good designs but I want to start a Merch (approved already) and maybe POD outside Amz site in order to make make some good money monthly to get out of the 9-5.
Can you give me some directions? Tips& tricks or point me to someone to follow on web that provides good and working methods to start a pod business?

I too am a noob at creative methods of generating income, with that being said, should I focus on google and fb as a means of advertising my shirt designs?

The reason this hack works is because Amazon's processing isn't real time. The system accepts more than 10 for an instant before their async database is writing.

When they review the account and notice this, the merch will likely get banned.
