Amazon - Hitting Hard & Fast...

After spend about an hour reading this. I'm still thinking play with dropship is more save game inside Amazon.

you sent a message but due to post counts I couldn't reply. I focus mainly on review sites for products at least $100 or more. I am using the WordPressReviewTheme and basically just replace the header and colors. I rewrite the product description and benefits and then summarize the consumer reviews. Listing pro's and con's for each product also helps. Links to Amazon are through text as well as photos. The theme comes with instructions on how to use. Hope this helps.

Do you place multiple reviews on your sites for multiply products or build a new site for each product?

Videos work great for increasing traffic. I have several sites up and those with youtube videos bring the most traffic. I use Proshow Gold for making my videos and it really does increase conversions.

Do you also embed the same YouTube videos on your site or only have them on YT with a link back to your site?

I have a general product site such as "bbq smokers" and list anywhere from 7-10 different products by various manufacturers.

hey guys do you think it will make money if
1) you use free wordpress platform
2) stick to one niche and post articles
everyday
3) put amazon affiliate links?

how's it going with ranking after panda? is your site still ranking the same?

Quite an interesting read!....It's my opinion that Amazon is a sheer numbers game for decent profits. .....Amazon's cookie is only 24 hours, so you just have to get as many people 'thru the door' as it were.

I'm recently getting back into Amazon, with a custom tool I've been preparing for a few weeks now, If anybody is interested in Amazon team work ....Please don't PM me if you don't have any value to add!

Lets make some money!

I am definitely up for making some $$$$, and it is always cool to share notes ... did you start a 'mastermind' group ? I am curious what type of tool you developed?

TIA!

Do you place multiple reviews on your sites for multiply products or build a new site for each product? I use multiple related products for each site. They usually range from 7-10 products and these product keywords are what brings the buyer traffic. Most folks looking for a specific product name and model are already buyers, they just need confirmation to go ahead and buy.

Im looking forward to amazon marketing. its legit and i can see myself doing it in a long term. Im still a newbie in I.M, currently im making money with free full version game/software downloads + content locking but somehow I dont feel good about it. clickbank is full of rubbish products and i hate it because i want to give valuable products to my visitors.

seo needs time and ppc needs experience so I would say social marketing aka youtube/facebook.

"SEO takes time, and PPC needs experience"

very well said!

I am an Amazon affiliate marketer as well. SEO takes a bloody lot of time that most IM'ers just tend to quit the game before they see success... as for me, I relied on SEO - I did earn nearly 1K in my first year. This month is actually my 1 year anniv in this niche website business.

What I did?

*Built about 10 websites (with more than half of them built in the last 6 months). When I first started, it took me 6 months to build 3 websites.. :D

*use product-review style post with unique content of at least 800 words (as you can see, it took a lot of my time, then I decided to outsource the content creation) with pics/images and videos on some pages

I've been with amazon recently and returns were good, though i am newbie, I'd been primarily marketing amazon shortlinks in linkedin and blog comments. But after having read all your comments, i am afraid if this strategy will trigger amazon black dog, Does this violate the amazon rules?

just out of curiosity what is the price range of the products you are selling i.e. $, $$, $$$, or $$$$. So far I've just sold products in the $$-low $$$ range. Fairly good volume, but cash-wise they don't make me that much

Hi Ladygie,
You have done well with 10 sites. Hope more $$$ will come your way.
How many domains did you use for the 10 sites?
