Amazon - Hitting Hard & Fast...

Good one here, i will incorporate youtube and facebook page to my amazon review campaign. amazon is a money maker provided you can follow where the money is on amazon and send backlinks to your page until you rank.

Am finding that if you make your homepage like a store with product pictures, conversion will go through the roof. Seriously most buyers don't need your reviews. the sooner you get them over to amazon the better you make that commission.

I think for the most part that any review site setup would also have product images ... the "review" part is just for providing unique content so that you can rank more easily. - Don't get me wrong, using that review to do a little pre-selling is probably pretty popular i would think.
 
How do you get $10-15 a day with adsense with youtube traffic? Or are you doing SEO as well?

Is your site dedicated to one product? (ex: coffee makers)
 
Congrats on your campaign xoskillet! And yes fanpages can really help bringing in some extra bank :D I've never had any luck using youtube and amazon.

Questions -

- Are you using simple 2-3min videos about the individual product itself or just random videos from your niche?

- Approximately how many views did it take for you make those sales?

Please, am not castigating your method. am just saying what i have noticed. yes content is important for ranking, but i just noticed that if ones homepage is made to look like a shopping site conversion goes high. Nice method here, i will surely implement it. Thanks reps given

Yes, I'm also interested to hear how many views/vids you used that equaled that much traffic to Amazon. Also, congrats, you've already surpassed almost 95% of people that attempt Amazon.

Not seeing the whole picture? I guess because you are only using Youtube to generate traffic. If you add in more traffic venues like social networking then the more sales will come.

I used 'video marketing blaster' (a member of BHW sells it here) to do niche research for me.

Then i made my own little 3-4 minute videos


did my own seo on them


i made 10 vids


each one is for a different product

I should also note that out of all sales so far, only 2 were for actual products i was promoting.... the rest is for other shit i never mentioned and never promoted in any way.

i actually used a mix of videos about the product AND about the niche.... tried to be witty/humorous with the vids... all hit pretty good except 2, so i have had most of my action out of 8 vids.


i had a little over 6k click-throughs from my vids to my amazon offers. the videos themselves had more than 25k total views combined

Thats a good idea. I'll tweak my front page a bit and see if it helps! ... its just on a wp blog, so it should be pretty easy.

I guess i feel like i'm missing something because this really came a lot easier than expected... it's like im waiting for the hammer to fall and them to delete my account and take commissions away (no, i didnt do anything sneaky or underhanded) and say that i broke their tos somewhere because this just really hit hard and fast and without much work.

i spent a lot more time researching the process than i did actually putting it together.... i honestly did a half-ass job on some of it because "it was just a test".

Ha! probably just a guilty conscience because it came so easily.

What about linking? Did you send them straight to amazon or a landing page/review site?

I'm thinking of sending them to my site then a redirect to amazon using cpa redirector?

Are you kidding me? This is Amazon 101 you should go update their TOS, no one allow to put or even mention something belong to their trademark from one's domain, such things like "amazonstore.com" "amareviews.com" or what will easy get your affiliate account banned.

For the content on the site, since it's a products reviews information you're free to mention any name you think of except giving fail info may get you sue.

Back to OP, one more question I was thinking about guys but missing my answer somewhere. You guys getting traffic from youtube, so why do we need a website instead of put on direct link to Amazon store with your ID on description? What's the disadvantage?

Anyone can help me to clear me this maze?

That was what I wanted to know also. Because it's against their TOS. The click must come from a site that you own. On the other hand they do allow twitter traffic. Hell they even have their own url shortner for it.

Yeah man, the link is to my site, then it redirects to the proper aff. page on their site.
 
amazon doesnt want you linking directly to them from your ads because they want plausible denyability.

that way, if someone breaks rules, it can be tracked back to a domain, and that provides proof that amazon is not involved in any schemes and that it is the site owner doing whatever brought attention.

Thanks for the clarification. I know those are the rules, but their is always a way around those ;)

So are you targeting just one niche or did you just shotgun it for testing?

well i didnt entirely shotgun it - i used a program i got from here called azon analyzer and did some research/filtering and selected a few top sellers to go after..... but, most of my sales have came from other products rather then the ones i promoted.
