I dabble in IM/Affiliate marketing. I've been thinking about entering the Amazon affiliate space.

I'd likely use Wordpress as the platform and am wondering, if anyone had any thoughts on a good ["best"] plugins etc, that help ease the journey/speed development up? I've seen on JVZ a product called called "MyAzon" others I've looked at, include, EasyAzon and Prosociate.

Any thoughts on these - others you may be aware of and any other "must do's" if getting into Amazon affiliate marketing, would be gratefully received.

Thanks and best wishes to all.

EasyAzon is the best in my opinion.

I use both Wp Zon builder & easy azon. You can use Wp Zon builder to save a lot of time, as it can directly create you posts for the products you select from amazon. The benefit is you also get the featured image attached to each product post. After you have created the posts just disable Wp Zon builder plugin. Now use easy azon to insert you affiliate links, image, amazon buy now button in the posts. For content i recommend write product review articles. Try to use a theme that supports review system so that you post reviews.

Can you recommend a particular theme? Just to take a look and get a feel of how it should look and function.

I have about two dozen amazon sites (niche blogs with most links liked to amazon) and I add small shop on them. In all cases I used woocommerce plugin (it support affiliate products too) and works fine. It's free and has a lot of additional plugins to help you out with site integration (like widgets). I like it because of overall control I have with this plugin (unique descriptions - great for pre-sell, unique title, unique images... )

I don't believe, in order to make a decent flow of revenue from Amazon on a consistent basis, that there is a whole lot you can do to speed things up too much. I think, from soup to nuts, you are looking at 3 months minimum before you start making good money (naturally, I am talking about getting organic traffic and not paying for it). There ARE no short cuts to earning a long term income from Amazon. If there are, I would love to hear them.
