Amazon - Commission on Used goods?

I've read about a method here on BHW where the OP uses a method of Classified ads sites + Amazon (with a page in between).

What if the person buys a used item (from many private sellers). Do we still get a commission? I've spent two hours reading Amazon TOS (ugly stuff in there!) and couldn't find anything to the contrary.

Who has experience with Amazon. Did they pay you, even for used items?
