It takes some time for you to rank. Also, did you do any keyword research or did you jump into the niche blindly? Try to build a couple of web 2.0's to your website and see where you end up in the search results.People are saying 'An amazon aff site almost always work'... I usually let the first 1-2 months be content filling and indexing of website and build about 5 web 2.0's, a few directory submissions and pdf sharing website backlinks. Ranking isn't a over-night thing, it sometimes takes months to see any results but trust me, it is usually worth it in the end.
Good luck!

Thanks for your suggestions.
Yes I did heavy keyword researches with LTP to locate some nice keywords(6000+ us local search per month, and competitive analysis index lower than 30).
Am targeting a hot niche with many products always have tens(maybe hundreds) of sales per day, according to the customer reviews on amazon. There's competition for sure but am disappointed that there was not even a single visit to my site. And you know I spent 50$ to buy a silo theme for it.
Maybe it's off topic...
Congress to OP for the success, will follow /learn from you and try to figure out what's happening on my site.
Have you ever experienced a lower conversion rate at Amazon after increasing the CTR on a website? I increased my websites CTR to amazon by 15-20% (I simply switched my themes default anchor text to include an underline), but the conversion on Amazon's end has suddenly dropped by a huge 3-4%. I'm not sure why but it seems like people just stopped buying the items altogether after I made this switch, but it doesn't really make sense to me. I've tested with about 1000 unique visitors on Amazon's side, but maybe I need more data. I even checked my results from 2013 and 2014 to make sure it's not a seasonal thing, and both years were doing fine in May.
Anyways, keep up the great work. I learned a few new things following your journey.
Little Conversion Case Study
As I mentioned in a previous post I'm using different tracking IDs to know which link/button/image get conversions!
Well, so far 80% of conversions came from call to action. For call to action I mean this kind of button:
![]()
*I'm using my own buttons without the Amazon Logo and this is just as example.
If you can make a more specific question I can probably help you betterHope you'll reach your goal. If you have any SEO tips, I'm all ears.![]()
I have done the same, but I have read that we can only use official buttons/logos/images for linking purposes. What's your opinion on that?
mgsss can be awesome if you can link where you found informations about this restriction
I have contacted hekke who pointed out that custom banners are a no-go, so I find it logical that custom buttons are a no-go as well. I also got paranoid because of that paranoid guy on the 2nd page of your thread, so I'm reading the TOS for the past 2 days and I still can't figure it all out.
I contacted the Amazon Live support about 2 months ago for a manual review of my site. The guy that reviewed my site said it wasn't breaking any TOS except that I cannot use the buttons I used back then. Please use only references from Amazon's TOS to confirm or deny any restriction.
Unfortunately there are already too many myths and do not need to create others.
Mate thanks for clearing up some aspects, but still expect the answer from Amazon because I'm also using other elements and I would like to have a confirmation from them.I contacted the Amazon Live support about 2 months ago for a manual review of my site. Actually, I found the exact button I was using. That's the one^. but from what that support guy said, no custom CTA-buttons are accepted. They allow you to use their CTA-buttons on this site. Let's be honest, they are damn ugly.
Nice journey OP. How much did you spend on obtain the expired domain?
Also the sales you are posting and earning 21.21 Euros per day, is this from the brand new site or combined earning of other previous 10 or so Amazon sites?
What about your homepage? Do you target your main keyword at your homepage (eg: electric razor) or your homepage is just a bunch of post excepts (like in Mashable CNN etc)?
