I have an affiliate site I built using a plugin that allows you to input multiple Amazon affiliate ids. I'm using a U.S. account I've had for years but want to sign up for the U.K. and Canadian programs also. However, my U.K. application was denied, apparently because according to them, "We've decided that your site may not present a mutually beneficial business opportunity and because of this, we can't accept your application at this time."
This might be a stupid idea but I don't think they actually verify the site you submit to them so in order to get accepted could I just submit another site that doesn't actually belong to me?

They might not verify it now, but they might verify it later, just before your payout is due.

With Amazon it is, IMHO, best to play it as safe as possible. It is hard enough to stay alive on Amazon just trying to keep track of all the rules and playing clean. If you play dirty you increase the chance of getting canned, many times over.

Yeah, good point. Seems like Amazon U.K. have higher standards than the U.S. or maybe I would have the same problem if I were signing up for the U.S. program now too.
