You need to have a youtube channel with quality videos and subscriber or an established QUALITY Facebook page that has a lot of followers and engagement
If you have that you can put that channel or page url on the "website" box on Amazon. You just can not promote amazon with your social profile or a random youtube channel or fb page. They won't approve your account after verification.

No, providing a random page or a website won't work. For final review, they will validate if the sale is coming from that website or a page or not. 
Add t he social media link ONLY if you have an established page with a decent number of followers be it Instagram, Youtube, Twitter or Facebook. They will absolutely not accept you. It's a waste of time if you just create a new Youtube account add like 5 videos and provide the channel's URL in the website box. Just create a site/blog with at least 10 review posts and make it look professional. It doesn't have to be TLD. I got mine approved with blogspot blog after trying for two months with Youtube channels. The thing is they review only after you make 2 or 3 sales. So all the testing and effort goes down the drain once they close your store.

This is BS and you know it. They will absolutely not accept you based on groups.
@seoxz - Setting up a legit affiliate website takes less than a day. Do that and then try to sign up.

They really verify only after sale, but be sure to make it within 6 months or they will close account

We had 5k members related to tv box. The first time they didnt accept because i gave them a website that i never put it online. I send them an email after my account demand was reject and with the facebook group page and others details. im still using it that.

You'd better build a website and add that. One manual review of your account and you'll face de-activation.
Earlier on, Amazon also approved tumblrs and blogspot blogs - but a lot of people have received notices for them. So tread carefully.

I would agree put a website together and then fill out the rest. I tried it and got accepted pretty quick and the site looked nice with a few articles. Make sure you follow the rules as they are pretty strict about what you can and can not do. Its pretty simple to figure out once the site is created. If you want to get a jump on it do some keyword research and get something in the niche that you are interested in or ties to your facebook so if you want to develop it further you are already set up for the most part.
You need your own landing page anyway

Create simple site. Back date few articles. Put on the site tos and maybe affiliate disclaimer and you are good to go my friend. You can do this with in a day
