Hey guys,
I have a ClickBank site that is doing alright. ($1,000/month)

but

I have heard a lot of good things about Amazon affiliate also some bad things.

So which is better, Amazon or Clickbank and why?

Good to diversify your income streams in any situation. You'd be correct, there are pro's and con's, perhaps most notably the (initially) low Amazon affiliate commission. On the flips side, you're dealing with an established company with an enormous breadth of products.

Yeah the comissions for Amazon are really low but the have a ton of products.

I don't like the fact that Clickbank has a very limited number of products. I have a parenting site and I think I'm going to switch it over to Amazon affiliate rather than clickbank affiliate.

Why limit yourself? You can create new content and have a new revenue stream. You could also go back through your current articles and insert Amazon smart links where they make sense.
You don’t have to do just clickbank and Amazon either. Look on offervault and check out their offers. You can create an ebook or your own course and sell that. If you have a cash flow you can outsource the work for an ebook or a course.

You're right, I'm thinking too small. I think I'll make my current site a Amazon+Clickbank site and see how it performs.

How are you making $1000/month. Can you share some tips. I am trying a lot to make my first sale on clickbank but never got any success yet :(

Yes, when compared to clickbank marketing, amazon affiliate is the best platform from where you can earn more money through it.

If CB works for you I would stick yo it
Amazon is good too, depends what you are going to promote

From my experience, Clickbank was great until adblockers started blocking affiliate url's, with Amazon I didn't have any issues.
Another point that u need to consider is that Amazon is the biggest marketplace in the US, u could earn a lot from the 24 hour referral cookie.

1k a month from CB isn’t too shabby. Take my advice keep doing what you’re doing don’t mess up a good thing, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. A few years ago I was making about the same from them but there were too many people requesting refunds so of course cb banned the product. Now I make only $20 month from them.

wow..that's good.
I was trying CB a few years ago, one time I made $200 in a month on betting products, but the rest month I get nothing, then I leave it.

Yeah, I know a bunch of people that got on Clickbank, made a couple hundred and left. I'm looking for long-term passive income.

It just that I created a new site with a new niche and there aren't that many digital products on Clickbank for this niche. That's why I'm thinking of switching to Amazon.

Why don't you try and compare this? I do not think that there can be a generic advice for this question.

With Amazon it's much easier to get sales because everyone knows Amazon and trust it
but your best option is to use these both affiliate programs
