Hi,
First of all I am a new member here, I look forward to learning a lot from here.

I have an amazon affiliate website with meager traffic. This month till date (1 march 2016 to today) i got 46 clicks. In amazon 'orders reports' it shows zero 'product link clicks' and 46 'other clicks'. My understanding is that the 'other clicks' are those clicks made in Amazon website by users who are already referred from my website, so it should record atleast 1 'product link click'.

I also tested by clicking on several of my product links but none showed in the orders report. I contacted amazon about it and they haven't responded yet (they sent a few mails but none addressed the problem). So I have no idea what went wrong and am looking for your suggestions.

More info:
  • Checked all the links in amazon link checker, they are all good.
  • my website is in WordPress
  • I use amazon short links (provided by amazon), but I also used direct links to see if they appear in the orders report.
  • Nothing is listed under 'Items with no orders'
  • I have made sales (8 products) but none are the products I reviewed.
  • I have another affiliate website with another affiliate id, but it shows 'product link clicks'.

Waiting for your valuable suggestions.
Thanks,
Charles

Looks like I am the only one having this issue. Are any mods around? can u guys help?

Thanks,
Charles

Hi, I'm not worried yet as it's my only click but I too have it categorized in 'other clicks' and I was looking around for what that meant and found this. Its a shame no one replied as I can't find much elsewhere either. I know this is an old thread and I'm unsure about the rules as I'm new at the minute so forgive me if I shouldn't be bringing an old thread back to life but, in the hope it gains some new views. My website is a blog too with just a plain text link to a category in amazon and I have an amazon logo picture linked to amazon too.
Thanks in advance for any information to this topic!
