Amazon affiliate program start

I want to make money using Amazon affiliate program. I read online that best way to start is to find a niche market product. For example iPhones only. My question and concern is that why would someone come to my website buy iPhones. I know someone will say start a blog about iPhone etc. but I don't want blog. Just online store full of iPhones products. any good tips?

If you're planning on receiving organic traffic from G you should do a blog. Or not necessarily a blog but rather a review site. You see, if you want to rank you need content.(preferably a shitload of it) Within that content you'll have your keywords that you'll rank for in G. Of course there are tons of other ways getting traffic like fb ads or adwords etc. But creating a review site is the passive income type. You create it, rank it with SEO and leave it there to deliver the cheddar automatically. At least, that's the theory.

Why would they come to your site to buy iPhones stuff? Well, because you've convinced them to do so. You built trust and your opinion matters. You wrote reviews that are engaging, entertaining and are educational at the same time.

But don't sell iPhones please.

You have too look at it from an Authority perspective, people visit sites because they are convinced they can find the data they need there. A simple HQ Domain and good SEO can help boost such a service.

Generally speaking the idea is that you make a "review" site, providing insightful information from a personal perspective on the products people are looking to buy. Then they visit an amazon link (your referral link) from one of your reviews and (hopefully) purchase said product, returning some commission to you.

If you're asking whether anyone would want to visit your site to just purchase, say, iPhones, from you over somewhere like Amazon, there is none really. People want to read honest reviews on a product before buying and that's why 99% of affiliate sites are some form of 'review' site.

If you want to do amazon affiliate it's safe to say you need to make a review site, plain and simple. I'm not saying you can't be part of the 1% who do things differently, but remember, you're not part of the 99% yet.

If this sounds like something you want to do I'll share you some links on some guides, otherwise if you're dead set on having an online store, look into general ecommerce and drop shipping.

I guess everyone response was to start a review site. you know how hard that is? I would have to buy that product, use it and write one of 5 posts etc... I said iPhone as a an example, because I use that everyday. I don't use makeup items (LOL!), which ladies will be impressed. I do know how to design websites (php, wordpress etc) So, I won't have issue with that. I can write about programming all day, but I don't think amazon has alot of items in that industry. I wanted to start a web hosting biz.

can you suggest certain items or share of the website which use Amazon affiliate links. so I get a sense of review site you all are suggesting.

You can have an ecommerce store using Amazon and include a blog. Your store should have unique descriptions. Wordpress - Woocommerce and prosciate can help build them quickly.
You don't have to do a review site but you do need good content, otherwise when Amazon do a review they'll withdraw your affiliate

You don't have to buy the product to review it.

What Blogzandstuff said, it doesn't have to technically be reviews, but in terms of the work you'd be doing there is not much difference between really good descriptions for a product and a review of the product.

Either way you're going to need a lot of content with optimised SEO and keyword density.

In terms of products you could do, only thing I can advise is to NOT do anything electronics. What you want is to find a niche with some good keywords. Keyword research is the most important part as you want a low competitive one, how you get this is the tricky bit.

What if I told you that around 1% of the reviewers actually try the products?
Read the reviews of people on Amazon and write yours according to their experience or just use your imagination. The longer, more in-depth detailed review you come up with, the better.

Finding a good item to review is the trickiest part of it all, because you have to make your desicion based on the competition for the available keywords of said item. The main theory is this: the keyword has lots of searches / month but little competition = good; only a few searches and/or has too many competitors = bad.

I don't know if we are allowed to link example sites, but it isn't hard to find one. Just write in a product + reviews, like "shaver reviews" or something like that.

Your site / store will need to have a significant amount of unique content if you want to be accepted into their program.

And iPhones is a very competitive niche.

You are right, small niche websites are sometimes difficult to advertise, the only option left is adwords or facebook ads, finding the right place to advertise becomes difficult.
