Amazon affiliate link, across entire site?

Hi,

I can easily generate dynamic affiliate link per product off amazon associates but what i want to know is if amazon lets you have a static affiliate link that gives you commissions across any item the user buys.
Anyone know?

When someone clicks on your link for lets say an ipod, you as an affiliate will get credited for the ipod and anything that person buys within the 24 hour cookie period, no matter what it is. That's the the cool thing about about amazon, you just need to get your traffic on their site.

I recently had someone buy a weed-eater and some athletic socks!! Go figure

what if they don't buy the ipod but buys something else? do you still get commission?

Yes. You get paid for any item bought within 24 hours of user clicking your link but be warned there are some types of items that amazon won't pay affiliates for. Refer to their terms for a detailed list of those items.
