Amazon Affiliate - 6k Monthly

Been working a decent amount lately. Website 1 has started to respond to my recent activity and some of my rankings are returning. I need to post new content but that's the most difficult part.
Website 2 is progressisng nicely. I sent some links, fixed some design problems, started inner linking more often. Today I'm adding some more content to the category pages so they are more likely to rank. I'm ranking in the top 10 for some "best" keywords that I targeted. Most of my target keywords are on the 2nd or 3rd page, so I'm close to the money.
Yesterday I realized that I didn't add affiliate links to a few of my articles, so I could be earning a little bit more right now. So today I'm adding affiliate links and a few obvious buttons directed towards amazon.
Purchased a really nice niche relevant do-follow link that should be posted in the next week or two, which will definitely help push my pages up a little. I don't like to concentrate on back-links for too long, because then I feel like it looks unnatural to google, especially if I'm buying links.
After I purchase some links or even build a few natural links, I'll sit and wait a couple weeks while writing content, fixing designs issues, or working on another website until I start to think about where I should focus my attention next.
If you've built a do-follow niche relevant back-link with exact anchor text, you can almost guarantee some rank increase if you aren't already on the front page.
I also purchased some links on niche relevant youtube videos, that seemed to boost my rankings as well.
My pages aren't mobile optimized, who knows how much that's affecting my rankings. That's another thing I need to learn how to do.
Website 2 is averaging 25 unique organic visits per day. I think I can expect to start earning a couple hundred monthly soon from website 2.

I don't follow a specific structure. I try to answer the problem/question. Your article structure probably won't hold you back from ranking, but it may prevent you from optimizing clicks.
