Hello, I had a journey on here a little while back but was forced to delete it out of security concerns. I like recording my thoughts, and it keeps me motivated, so I'm doing it again. I know what I'm doing, now the goal is to scale it up. About Me 21 year old from the United States. Went to college for a few semesters but did pretty poorly out of lack-of-interest, so I took a year off to try and earn some "passive" income. The idea is that college will be more exciting and worth-while if I don't have to worry about money or my major even. I want be able to take classes because they interest me, not because I think they'll have the best chance of landing me a cushy job or the best ROI. I live with my parents. This provides me the unique opportunity of putting almost 100% of earnings back into the business to scale it up. I'm very grateful for this, but I would like to move out soon as well. Websites Website 1 - Last month's profit: $2,895.00 About This Website - Age 1 Year - My first site. I first learned html and css and then worked on this site. It took me 5 months to learn to design and finish writing the 30 articles it would start with. I give zero shits about the niche in general, I only chose this niche because I had a 3-year aged domain with a 1-page, 500 word article already on it. It took me around 1-year to reach 3k profit per month. I simply took the earnings and reinvested in links and content. Originally I wrote all the content, but that's not effective for scaling, so I've been outsourcing ever since. I currently pay about $15 per 500 words. According to Keyword Planner, my niche does very well during Christmas. I expect to earn anywhere from 5k-7k next month but I really don't know as it's my first time going through the Holidays. Even if I break 6k like I want, I don't count this towards my goal as Christmas sales are way above average. Website 2 - Last month's profit $20.00 About This Website - Age 1 Month - Very excited for this website, lots of earning potential. Again, I give zero shits about this niche in general, I only chose it because of the weak competition/websites that are currently ranking in the top 10. Currently has around 25 articles or so on it, the majority are outsourced. I've been progressing my outsourcing little by little. First I outsourced small articles and now I'm trying to outsource "Pillar" articles or large money articles 2000 + words. These cost me about $75 per. I'm still going to write a few articles as well, but the majority of articles on this website will be outsourced. Link Building - The website is very new and I don't want to scare away the fickle ol' google, so I'm taking link building slowly. Believe it or not, it's a lot easier to acquire links when you wave money in their face, so I'm going for large, niche-relevant worthwhile links with a few large niche-relevant web 2.0's sprinkled in. Social traffic is not my game and converts poorly anyway, maybe later. Website 3 - Last month's profit: $0. About This Website - In Planning. Looks more profitable and easier to rank than previous website. Expensive products, relatively new on the market. Will focus on same link-building patterns as before, but with a small PBN included for testing purposes. The goal is to have this website up by December 1st with 20 articles and 3 pillars. The distinct advantage of outsourcing articles is that I can spend my time creating new websites or scouting for links rather than writing boring articles. Till Next Time.
