1) best way to get out of sandbox is maintain the anchor text ratio and give some foundation links along with social shares.
2) I'm fulfilling the intent of search query. Putting small article at first then adding content to be updated.
3) It depends I'll prefer fresh to start micro niches affiliate sites and making it long term. If you don't care about that go with ED.
4) Everything is important in SEO. You should have to optimised the site.

It depends on which types of theme you like. I have wp dev customising astra and generatepress on every site.

1) would invest in content first.
2) some foundation links like forums, profiles, comments, with social signals.
3) after 2 month of starting date.
4) diverify the links on different pages and interlink more to pass link juice to each and every pages.
5) I'm doing 70/30 ratio (70-affiliate/30-info) and it's going great.
6) I'm paying upto 1 INR per word for content.

Do you believe that SEO is still profitable?
If so have you noticed things becoming more competitive/increasingly difficult as the years have gone by? And if that's the case will it still be a viable business for the average marketer going forward?
I hate to sound so pessimistic but I really don't think SEO is all that profitible considering the moment you stop posting articles and building links Google tosses you to page 2. I definitely think the days of passive income are long gone.

What type of questions or metrics would you bring up to local potential clients, to get into business with them? Example: a bunch of local businesses here have shitty websites and/or social media accts. I'd like to approach and offer them help to improve their online presence and website(s). Which I assume would also include improving their SEO/providing them better SEO service than what they bought previously. What would I look into offering them, to make it worth their time? I don't mind talking to people, as in out of my comfort zone, and approaching the owner, webmaster, etc,whatever it takes. How can I get into this? Or at least get started to find out what needs to be covered /known prior to approaching these clients? Thanks in advance OP!

Yes, SEO will be all-time profitable as it gives you long-term revenue if you have implemented the proper strategy.
