OP, I have a question about WP.
It's been bugging me for ages. Why WP doesn't provide visual editor plugins for category description.
Let's say I have a category about office chairs, so I want to have an articles as category description and then on the side bar have posts from the category.
I know I can use category description field but it's very basic. Is there a way to edit category description the way I edit posts or pages?

Having troubles with my schema lately. I have installed both Yoast SEO plugin and Schema.org plugin. Do I need to uninstall Schema.org plugin since Yoast SEO plugin already has schema...

This actually is a semi-urgent one.
I've build a program that converts json to a html description + datatable.
When it reaches like.. 700(?) lines in the product short description, it just cuts out everything that comes after that. Is there any max limit of data that can be thrown into the product short description? - It works when I manually close the thead & table though, which shouldn't be normal.
This is probably a max character issue, would love to find out how to extend that.

Again need help regarding images.
I want to upload 280,000 images on my wordpress project.
Rn each image is of about 800kbs average in size.
Those are product images.
Any suggestions how can i magnificently decrease size with much compromising with quality.

I use SG optimer for my tens of thousand of images, works really well.

Yeah, MainWP will be a good choice for multi WP.
You can create your category description in a post and copy the html into the basic field and use this plugin: https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/allow-html-in-category-descriptions/
I would rather disable the Schema module in the YOAST plugin, and active Schema Pro.
My personal suggestion would be Yoast.
It's integrated in the most news related themes. But you can also install a plugin like this:

As far as I know there are set no hard limits for max chars. I haven't an answer to your question honestly.
Yes, Resmush plugin is a good one to fix and optimise images.
