How to Rank your gigs?
What is your advice to someone who is just getting started?
 
In every place where there is rank there are competitors.You need to find out the keywords of your competitors.
You need to finalize you primary and secondary keywords from there.

-Your title must contain your primary and secondary keywords
-The rest of the description should be clean and should make a meaning
-Why are you selling this and why you think anyone should buy it from you
-Videos and images are key to ranking
-You can check for everything your competitors are missing and that's the key to ranking.Simple.
-Fiverr competitors miss a lot of things So don't worry about it You are always going to find loop holes out there in there offers
-The one factor you should keep in mind is your response time and reviews.
-Always be polite and keep your customers updated is key to positive reviews organic.

I hope you can start working with knowledge and get your gig ranked faster onto page one. That is all you need as a beginner.
 
You can also use the above method but just to come in newest gigs you need to have a video that will distinguish you from everyone who is a new comer because most of them don't bother about it in start and 1-2 reviews will make sure of it.

But aim to get on main page for your keyword not on newest gigs.

I was wondering if you can sell only low budget things on fiverr, or do you also find people which are willing to pay higher rates for good work?

You can sell high rate services out there as well.Fiverr is no more 5$ world.Most of my gigs are real high budget as few people know about them and I face no competition when I get my gigs ranked.

Get your gigs ranked is the first thing.Interactive gig content good pics and videos.Your customer support is very important. I have 100% recursion of my order just because of my Customer support.You get few new buyers daily but from old customer good relation and satisfaction can get 2x orders daily.

Aggressive is the way to go. There is nothing slow in this world to be honest. Waiting for the right time won't earn you good at all. Cash your skills as fast as possible and earn repute in market. The slower you do it on fiverr, the harder it will be for you.
If you have something in mind don't hold back and start working on it. I personally start aggressively and when I see an opportunity there is no holding back.

That's how I work, I am not in your shoes. So you know what's best for you.

love those tips very useful. how much traffic are you getting at this time?
 
You need to go through titles and description of your top 5 competitors.You have to check for keywords in there title and description.As I mentioned above title contains primary and secondary keywords. You need to go through the description as well to check for keywords related to your niche.Every keyword used has a purpose.No one is fool to write title and description without going through proper research(suppose if someone does when you check them on keyword planner they will be removed). So these keywords are beneficial which you extract from your competitors.Now check there search volume from google keyword planner.

Use those keywords that are more related to your niche and make sense to you with the highest search volume from those keywords you extracted. You can also try unique keywords which no one else are trying but a tested thing is always better than something new.

Note:I know this question is going to come if someone is not using 2 keywords in their title than what? If someone isn't using high volume keywords in there title then he won't stand a chance when you will use them in your title.

Thanks for your answer. I agree with you. What would your roadmap for an aggressive launch for 5 high demanding services?
  • All at once or one by one?
  • Should I buy fake reviews?
  • Should I buy advertising on Fiverr.com listing pages?
  • Should I buy ads on Google or Facebook that goes trough the Fiverr service page?
  • Should I give incentive to my BHW clients to get payment from them on Fiverr?

Here is what I suggest:
  • I will work on 3 at a time and will assume my progress with them.I don't recommend both 1 by 1 approach or all at same time.1 by 1 approach can make you think that you are doing something wrong but actually there is nothing wrong and the niche is highly competitive and it can take time.But with 3 you can get at least 1 service ranked quickly and you will be at peace that you are on right track and if you fail you won't be all out.(If you try multiple techniques you can try in bunch of 2-3 or 1-2-2) as you wish.But same techniques on all will be a big risk.I hope you get my point what I am trying to convey.
  • I suggest try organic first.I know its a bit black hat but everyone does it but should look legit buyer if you are actually forced to do it.
  • No that's your last option its way to costly.
  • I suggest you looking here for threads .I saw a thread yesterday about promotion in niche related groups for free,Just search it and that's really helpful.Google and facebook ads another costly thing in the start won't suggest you.If you are willing to pay I suggest pay it to a social media influencer (of course who has audience related to your niche/service) to review your service in real life that's will give a real pump.
  • The idea is great, but you need to confirm if BHW allows this.

    There are few benchmarks to check the credibility of such service, from where you get. You need to ask them to show you the websites they will provide you backlink and check them manually.If they have higher DA then your website and are relevant to your website than you can take that service.But before ordering read there description first carefully.As if you fall to any scam and in their gig there is nothing stated as the backlink won't be removed then they can even remove the backlinks and you will lose money back.I suggest to confirm every term in messages as the service provider cannot backout from it later if any problem ours.


    look for service providers over 1-2 years not with new gig.(its a suggestion to stay safe)

You need to look into it yourself. I can only suggest you one thing.Look for skill based services over there that other providers/suppliers are selling for over 2 digits and you can get it done for cheap it's good for reselling.For me I can resell any service I find profitable but I don't get into reselling as its not my thing and I cannot risk my repute in the credibility of anyone other than me :)
