Am I settle down on a Gold Mine?

I have a website which I registered the domain last year, later to be found that the domain age is actually 13 years old!!!

It wasn't registered. So here is my question: Does a domain age counts on the time it got registered, or it can count this way that the person cancelled the domain after, for example, 5 years, then after other 5 years someone else registered it?

In other words, is it true that my domain is actually 13 years old? (The way back machine found out that)

Once it drops the age starts over. Most decent domains have been registered at some point.

Domain age dont give that huge difference in terms of ranking, but just so you know new registered sites get a certain time boost...

It would be that old if it was never dropped. I guess you know your answer now.
