Hi there,
I'm currently weighing out different options for a dropservicing (outsourcing) niche.
But chronic overthinking (and fear of failure) hits me hard and prevents me from proceeding (since I already failed one time).
So to be honest, I'm actually looking for a bit of reassurance.
I was thinking I could niche down an SEO service for medical practice (dentist, chiropractors) and just outsource to well rated freelancers on Upwork.
I chose this because I think local packages are easier to sell because of the lower price.
But then I become really afraid of how many things can fail.
1. Lead generation is the one I am really afraid of. Especially since it will be hard to get the owners direct contact.
2. They have no idea why they should invest in SEO and will think its some voodoo magic scam.
3. Even worse, what kinda guarantee can you offer with SEO? Maybe a traffic increase even that's risky.
4. Also I feel like it is overly saturated but thought I'm gonna solve that one by niching down.
I thought of content creation, but then it can't be dental or chiropractors since they totally wont understand the value and the price will be even higher (and to find a good writer harder).
And I don't like the other niches like social media management, video creation or websites (sucks a lot this one)
So the question is, am I right to be overly concerned about choosing a niche or should I just be like fuck it I'm doing it?
And also, would it be better to develop the skill I want to sell first or just jump straight into it?
Would love to get your guys' thoughts!
