Am i missing something? PBN 2.0

I’ll ask bluntly; when does a PBN become a viable money site? I always see forums talking about how to keep your PBN active and basically trying not to get de-indexed, but never a lot of talk about harnessing the natural power of the PBNs themselves.

Does anyone else out there actually use their PBNs as true blog sites? Why not turn them into affiliate blog sites, have content updated regularly by a VA, and insert some long tail keywords to pull traffic for an affiliate like amazon products? In theory, this would turn your PBN into a true money site and if it is a true money site, you could link out to other money sites (which in this scenario would be other PBNS to further boost them) maybe i am missing something but it sounds solid.

In theory there's nothing stopping you on running a PBN site, as you would run a your normal money site. Usually, the reason why you see many people not doing it, it's the amount of time and resources required / needed in order to achieve this. I, for one, i'm following what you are saying, and I have two of my PBN blogs that are actually making money, and in some cases, even more money than some of my money sites. For one, on a manual check of your PBN it will look more natural if it looks that you are making out of that site as well, ie adsence or affiliate links.

Also, with this way, you are more or less expanding your PBN even further, when you'll have other domains, pointing to it.

As long as you keep your PBN clean, and you keep treating it with respect, it's perfectly fine to use it as well for making more money.

Well the PBNs that I am seeing are mainly used to sell links due to the metrics that these domains carry - it has some weight.
Although the PBNs have some nice metrics, it does not really translate to good ranking for a certain keyword, as the ranking process is different altogether.
There are a certain PBNs that have better weight when ranking as compared to others, and you can definitely point more of your own PBNs to this site, but if you are a PBN link seller, perhaps focusing more on selling the links would be better as compared to reaping the profits from the affiliate opportunity.
