So, here are the Adsense stats from one of my domains. I make pennies off of it. I don't know if there's a way to optimize it to earn more. Does this look normal to you?

What do you guys think?

i guess your ads are under the fold based on viewability, place them higher, change placements to get a better ctr

Change your ad forma and place

You should earn at least 2-4 USD; make responsive ads and optimize for mobile-first.

Gosh, if it's making me at least 2 dollars a month, I'd work a lot more on the domain.
I'm using advanced ads, and here's everything:

What should I change exactly?
Thanks a lot for your help guys.

main header
before content
after 1st paragraph
after 3rd paragraph
end of content

Make sure you put responsive ads and use big rectangles before content on mobile

Main header is next to the logo or under it?
Format for the first one is "Display"?
The rest "in-article"?

How can I use "big rectangles" before content for mobile?
I guess the ads are responsive. They have this snippet in the code [data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>]

I know I'm asking a lot of questions. I just realized that I didn't pay that much attention to ad optimization.

Do you use WordPress?
If yes use the plugin: wp insert

  • Make sure you have auto ads as well inserted
  • Make sure you have site.com/ads.txt as well

Considering your ctr your rpm is okay. Changing ad placements could help.

please let us know how your changes effect the cashflow

A lot of people use ad blockers so they will not see your adsense...

This doesn't solve the OP's problem nor contribute to a solution.

Remember, quality posts are more important than your "post count".

How about interlinking your articles better and using EMOTION-TRIGGERED headlines?

People are already finding your site, get them to stick around and view more pages

Better interlinking, better content layout, and better content SUBSTANCE should be enough to turn your site around

Thanks for the help, everyone.
I changed the theme, tweaked the whole structure of the website. It took me more than consecutive 12 hours. I changed ad placements completely, and I think it look fairly decent. I'll keep posting and will let it sit there for a month to gather stats. I hope my bounce rate improves.

Will update this thread in a month.

Your CTR is very low, Try using some link ads with a mix of responsive ads and see if you can increase it.

Try services like Ezoic or AdPushup. They have auto ad placements and they continuously test which placement works for you. You can even get access to Google AdX through them.

I just got penalized by google for doing this. idk maybe its my theme acting out I will report tomorrow if I can recover if this is just a glitch just today or im really penalized.

you can try to add more ads formats and keep posting content to increase your traffic
