Am I just not doing enough or doing it wrong?

Hey Everyone,
I have an affiliate that I have sent 25710 click through to over the past year. It has only converted 3 times. I get that offers expire and some of these offers buyer have figured out the trick to the trail offers so they won't convert. There is so many possible of why click throughs will not convert but I want to know if this is normal.

I reached out to my account rep and I have got no response and for the 3 that did convert a month ago I have not been paid on.

I figure either this is just normal to expect and I need to keep grinding or someone has been down this road with an affiliate and I am getting my chain yanked.

Regardless I don't want to blame the affiliate or name them because I am still new to this and it could be me not them.

Any help would be great.

Either your traffic is reaaaaly bad and untargeted or the affiliate is shady and shaving you big time. What type of traffic do you use ?
25k clicks man.... switch to similar affiliate and see how that works . A/B testing ;)

Just getting the pages to rank for keywords. Some of the traffic is robot driven so I get that it is not the best. I am sure if this affiliate was shady, someone would have called them out on here.

What do you mean by robot driven? You surely don't mean fake robot traffic?
 
Possible reasons are at least 4:
- traffic tacker sucks (if use blogger it is 99% bots)
- affiliate site sucks, but for such quantity traffic even fake will send you some money to keep doing this
- the platform you are using do country redirect
- the site you are using have virus (nuled plugins/modules) and 'stealing' your traffic

The tracking comes from the affiliate. Yes it could be bad traffic GSA does that to a site. I agree that the plugins maybe stealing. I will have to test with another one of my affiliates to see.

I find expired domains through DH that are not spammed.
I build authority sites with 2k worth of content per post that has been Onpage optimized with what is working currently. I use gsa in a manner that is not spamming. I used money robot for a year but went back to GSA.
I also build facebook fanpages and use autoblogging and then pepper affiliate links to not be banded. Build youtube videos also for help with G ranking.

My affiliates are:
Clickdealer
Clickbank
Amazon
Maxbounty
Peerfly
Turn2lead
NutraCash
Infinitycommission

I rank in the top 10 for most KD searches with volume between 100-2k.
I look at the pages I am competeing with and use Ahref to reverse engineer their link profile.

I am going to build a site with a different affiliate, get rid of a plugins and see if something changes.
I know time, patience, learning and hard work will get me there.

Which afilliate site is this.Some affiliate sites are known for not recording legit conversions
 
Wait wait wait hold up...you sent over 25,000 clicks (potentially leads) to your affiliate networks and have only thought to question it now? You sure it's 25k?
 
(Update) Like I had said I didn't know if it was something I was doing or if it was the affiliate. I was able to get a hold of the Affiliate manager, and they said that my payment form was wrong. Filled it out and then sent me money. Hence why I didn't want to name the one since I think to many people jump at blaming others instead of looking inward first.

Now the other issue is 25k in crap traffic to 3 conversions. This is not the affiliate, this my doing with driving bad traffic. I will continue you to experiment and work at it and in time I will find the way. Thank you to all that responded.
