Am i getting scammed?

How can you dispute a FaF transaction with Paypal?
Their standards of proof for an "unauthorized transaction" dispute are relatively low, and the decision is made without any input from the recipient.

Sometimes we didn't get email notification, you just ask for transaction ID and call to paypal customer support, they will help you out.
May be email id is not correct so you haven't received the funds. Check them with customer support and then confirm him whether you received or not.
Also request him to confrim from his end while talking with paypal customer support, why it's not received to you.

This is true, their decisions are 100% random and depends what you tell them asking for refund.
There is only no refund button for FaF transaction, it not means that refund is not possible when you call them.

Wow, then Paypal had violated their own tos. Since the money is being sent as a "gift" and not a goods and service it would negate the buyer protection. Whoever that person called the customer service rep must have took great pity on them to refund when they were not supposed to.

I've had a couple of people mention they have reversed F&F transactions, but nobody has followed up actually explaining how.

I've been using my paypal for a while now, email is verified never had problems receiving payments except this one is a lot bigger than what i normally receive, it's 2k so i was thinking maybe they're holding it up because of that. But I'm not sure, the guy was threatening me too, like he was a hacker and stuff and can find my location and dox me or something

I've had payments on hold and PayPal tells you when the sender has sent the money but PayPal is "reviewing" the transaction.

pics can never be a prove
Yea I knew that, I literally told him stop asking, I won't give you the account until the money's in my account, he was rushing me and he also sounded innocent, really fooled me on that!!
