Am I allowed to post a thread to sell some software?

I am just wondering. BHW rules are so strict, I do not want to get banned. I have some software BHWers might be interested in and want to sell it.
I want to know such a thread would violate BHW rules.

You need to get to 100 posts, then get jr VIP, then open a sales thread, and sell the software on a sales thread if you get approval.
