Hello dear Blackhatters,
I applied for a VA-position quite recently. Now I received an e-mail about further information about the job. The employer pretty much says, his relative worked for him and is busy for the next months, but he needs a VA for his reselling-business. He's in possession of a "logistic network" and would need me to receive the goods, check if documents and goods are valid and correct, then I shall send them to clients in my country (small middle-european country). He'll pay for all the goods in advance and wants to pay me around 1500 Euros for the work.
Is this a job offer that I can trust, or am I about to get scammed? Something tells me, that this is not quite realistic...
Would be happy to hear about what you think, so I can prevent myself from being scammed or losing an opportunity.
Best Regards,
Coingrabber

Whats the length of time and how much of these "goods" are you going to receive... also what are the goods? 1500 for a few months of work sounds pretty fair unless hes shipping you drugs or something that is difficult to distribute.

So you're going to dropship them? Dropshippers make decent cash. Do a little background on the guy or have @Asif WILSON Khan take a look at him to see if he's on the up & up.

That's a classic reshipping scam.

Edit: Thought I should give more details. A reshipping scam is basically the person will use stolen credit cards to buy the goods. They then send the goods to someone like you to send to someone else. Most of the time, the person receiving your shipped goods will also reshape it. Until it eventually gets to Russia. The consumer who had their credit card stolen will eventually report the unauthorized transaction which will result in a big investigation. I would stay away from this if I were you.

I learned from past usage of BHW workers that if people don't get straight to the point and start story telling just move on forget about it. They waste your time!

Thank you for your answers. I really appreciate it.

1500 Euros per month. Which is really much I think. It sounds somewhat too good.

He posted his job offer on Upwork. I think it wouldn't be recommendable to write down his name here, but your suggestion is good, thank you.

Exactly. I thought of that too. But I also thought that it might be a legitimate business, as there's really a lot of distribution of US products here in the EU.

Good advise. Thanks.

The question is, why should he actually not do it himself in the USA and sent it over to Europe after approving the products himself? Especially because he wrote out that he needs people from my country, before his "cousin" did it in the USA. Confusing.
Would be glad to hear your answers, I think I'm not going to do it when thinking about it right now.

I told him that I'm not going to do the job, as it's too risky. I believe this was not a legitimate job offer. Thank you for your help!

Just think if you have to ask if it might be a scam then something is wrong. You already think it might be shady so I wouldn't take the chance of finding out the hard way.

I did.
He is gonna get ripped. ( reply to the OP title)

I read he is not gonna continue, smartass.
Post count "whores" like you really annoy me, you obviously didn't bother to read thread/replies to know whats going on so you can make a decent reply.
Instead you just decided to post shit reply in order to get that sweet +1, don't bother replying to this as I will not engage in further discussion with you.

@op gj on not taking the deal, if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.

Who cares if you reply? By all means stick your replies where the sun has no domain
Idiots like you who pretend to be a smartass with tl/dr replies annoy the fuck out of me
I read the post
There does not need to be a long reply
He is asking a simple question and he GOT an answer --> he is gonna get ripped - if he continues - simple and to the point answer
cant give 2 fucks if I get likes or not - never cared - never will care
There is no need for a long analyses here or an in depth arguement - this is as classic a scam scheme as it gets
maybe your too noobish to understand that this is not intricate but clear cut and need a long detailed reply to satisfy your tl/dr gods

Decent replies huh? let's not even get started with your dalai lama guru level reply in depth comment here that could not be worth more than a shit stick stuck to to the ass off a dead road kill rabbit.
You sir have made your point. Mr. in depth. Out of curiousity, how deep and decent did you go to write that phrase?
