Am I a failure?

I am a college student and belong to a third world country. I started to look online to make money about 2 years ago. Since then I have failed in about everything I have tried so far.

I started off with a forum. Asked a friend of mine to buy me a domain, found free hosting, got free forum software and started to build it. But it didn't work out and I had to close down the forum.

I started another site and failed.

Started another and failed.

Then I found BHW. Been doing a lot of reading.

First, I tried to get into CPA. Tried Youtube with CPA. Bought Spk's youtube bot. Bought proxies. Failed.

I tried Clickbank. Failed.

Tried expertseo's Clickbank and Adwords method. Failed.

Tried a lot of other small stuff in between like getting into a JV etc. Failed.

These days I'm earning a bit from Fiverr and I'll be investing that money in something new that I will learn about from BHW.

I don't want to give up. I really want to start earning money.

Am I a failure?

IMO, No - and probably alot closer to success than you think.

You've spent alot of time learning - and the best thing to do is to keep learning - and before you know it, you'll have to learn what to do with your money. If you're the average age for a college student, you are almost 30 years younger than me and I really only started taking this seriously earlier this year. (I'm still working at being successful in IM too).

Keep working hard at it... you might be right around the corner from success!
 
You're only a failure when you stop trying. You have had a lot of projects , I would suggest stop chasing the money and instead concentrate on putting out a quality product....the money will follow.
 
Youre a student and still learning through failing ;)
Now quit thinking about it and continue experimenting :)!
 
An old army sergeant once said to me -

"Your only a loser if you give up after defeat"

Remember your not failing if your learning, but maybe you've given up on things too soon?
Perhaps you didn't go the extra smile and stopped because you got frustrated?

Take some time to yourself and write down your biggest flaws and ask yourself why and when you chose to stop trying a method.

We all have our flaws, and everyone needs to understand their own strengths and weaknesses.
I know your feeling down now, but do focus on the positive things you've done so far, and try and focus on parts of IM that you enjoy doing. For example I think CPA is stupid, so I just steer clear of it and focus on areas I enjoy marketing... Hope some of that helps you on :)
 
As long as you've been able to identify why you failed on those projects, you haven't really failed.
 
You are only a failure if you quit. I started trying to make money offline and online when I was 18. Didn't make a single penny for 10 years. I failed a hundred times before I succeeded. Part of success is failure and having the fortitude to pick up your sorry ass and keep going. This is all part of the trials and tribulations of being an entrepreneur. Now get back to work!

After two years you're still trying? Start jarring your motivation and selling it. Most people don't last a month, maybe.

Just to make a note: It takes a certain personality type to make money from the internet; if you don't have some sort of financial boost (or other form of investment, doesn't have to be financial for some people) and/or eagerness to crawl through the mud before you see the IM-ing "Promised Land"? You will fail. That being said, take a gander at how much time and legitimate effort you've placed into the moneymakers you've tried. CPA? No. Clickbank? No, etc. What have you learned? Have you networked with others in that two year span of time? Are your niches anywhere close to being about things you enjoy as far as hobbies go? This stuff isn't easy coming out of the gate, meng. Cut yourself some slack and be a little more patient with yourself. Once you've got some of that pressure out of the way, you'll most likely be ready to give all this fun stuff another go. Hey, you might find something you'll do well in. Then again, if you're not willing to learn anything from the failures you've experienced (at the very least), then you're really missing out on the bits of wisdom that could save you another two years of the failure you've described in your original post.

Short Answer; Yes.
Obviously you are doing something wrong and if you continue along that path you'll continue to fail.

If you think you're a failure because of those experiences, then I must be a super-failure. Lol.
 
No, you only fail when you give up.

All you hear or read about is the "success" stories and never how many failed attempts they had.

Even the best marketers in the business fail in some way or another. It's how you deal with it, that matters. Try and try again.
 
Edison failed 10,000 times before he had success. There is a quote, that I can't remember verbatim, but it goes along the lines of "There would be a lot less true failures in the world if people tried just one more time before giving up."

Keep your chin up, and press forward!
 
For being successfull, you have to fail time and time again. That's how a person learn something. Keep going, keep trying.
 
I have tried and failed in so many things that I have started that I can't even keep count. I learned that you have to keep trying and trying just like learning to drive a stick shift car. You don't give on the first 20 tries. Finally you will "get it" and it will become natural to just get and idea and make money out of it. If you quit then you have failed but if you are still trying then you're failures are only there to help you learn. Hope that helps.
 
Failing a lot of times, you now have more experience than many of the people here who are just waiting for a "fire and forget" kind of method.

Your methods failed, but the fact that you're still fighting [amidst the low morale] is commendable and is an accurate image of why BHW is thriving - a never say die attitude!

Remember the 80/20 rule you will get 80% of your results from 20% of your effort, you just need to re examine your failures to see why and how they failed. It's easy to walk away and say well that failed, it's harder to go back confront the failure and say why/how did it fail?

Was it the system or was it just me? You're still young and you have to grow yourself first before the money can come.;)
