This discussion isn't exactly going in a very productive direction, but I'll just throw some of my thoughts in and hopefully they are of use if you decide to not go with the lynch mob.
First of all, I've used about a dozen different domain registrars and not one of them is able to protect you from trademark violation claims. If they say they can then that makes the registrar sound extremely dodgy to me and I'd stay away from them.
I've had plenty of positive experiences with GoDaddy, but would still never recommend them over Namecheap, as the customer service can be poor, their system is built to upsell you at every turn, the number of different hoops you have to jump through to transfer a domain away from them is ridiculous and their pricing is nowhere near attractive after the first year. Not saying Namecheap doesn't suffer from most if not all of these symptoms, but with GoDaddy these issues are far more common.
Namecheap used to be my go to registrar, but their policies regarding VAT were sketchy at best and their understanding of B2B practices seemed lacking compared to how pleasant the experience is as an individual when buying from them. In the end I decided to move away from them when one of their customer service reps told me to just modify their receipt to include my VAT number...
NameSilo I've heard good things about, personally never tried them. My domains are with a few different providers currently, some better than others, but I've yet to find one that would check all the boxes for all my domains, but if it's just .com and other basic domains I'm sure NameSilo does just fine. Out of the registrars I use I would probably recommend Gandi and Hexonet for you, but if you don't live in the EU yourself you might miss out on some the benefits these guys have over "overseas" providers. The most important factor about a registrar is that you feel comfortable with them and that they fulfill the requirements you set for them.

Well I can bet few bucks that the OP indeed was using trademarked domain so suing them wont be exactly wise move.
Anyway - dynadot and namesilo - both have free privacy, fair pricing and not trying to sell you crap in every turn. Godaddy are to be avoided at any cost. And if you make the mistake to use their privacy.. oh the joy to send them every ID / proof of address and whatnot you can think off in order to deactivate said privacy. Or pay them $30 per year for .com.

Yep, domains only. I would like to see them offering equally fair priced and good hosting solutions, but no at the moment.

I've heard of this happening before with namecheap. Their policies seem to be geared up in favor of the complainant which is total BS. They should make the plaintiff and defendant settle the dispute in arbitration. When someone makes such a claim, rarely is a registrar's customer service rep is qualified to make judgement. Ultimately if you're infringing on someone's trademark, nothing is going to protect you, but at least deal with a company who gives you as a customer some benefit of the doubt.

contact a lawyer where namecheap is located if that domain is worth to you and you think you have legit rights in terms of legal system.

Mate you should go with https://njal.la/ - i host there highly illegal domain for over a year now. No issues. 
you will pay a few more dollars though, but at the end of the day its worth it, as they will never suspend nor give out your information.

I'm actually with NameCheap and, I'm afraid most of the leading providers would take your domain down if they received a valid request.

If it's indeed a trademark violation then the domain can be taken away from you. If I put "Samsung" in my domain I don't expect to hold on to it much longer.
