Always do website monitoring

I want to share my recent experience with a drop in visitors from google this last two weeks!
I couldn't identify the problem until I used this website monitoring tool

it check your website response from many location !

I found out that my website was retuning an 500 http server error from many locations ! the reason was from my caching pluging bug which I fixed ofc.
the second thing is that I noticed that my website wasn't reachable from Russia federation ! no mater what I have done to fix it ! always getting timeout error from that location

so i contact my hosting service misshosting
they denied in the beginning but with evidence from this website they admit it and brought the actual war there as a reason for that decision .

the worst thing is that they did block a whole country without any notification to users ( so disappointed as their services was good so far)

as a temporary solution , I did integer Cloudflare service to serve that location from cloud but eventually will get a VPS server for a complete freedom if my website expand as wanted.

so yeah. I hope this little share will help you by any way.

Get as far away from that company as you can, it is a Swedish company that only focus on sales, they don´t give a fck about their customers never did since they started back in 2014. No Swedish webdevelopers use them, they are preying on newbies.

Yes, i had a site, go down cause the theme upgrade, vamoose goosed it! Took me 3 hours to fix, but lucky there was a backup before the update. Which if your going to monitor your site, you should also have regular auto backups.

I have been slacking on monitoring. I always wanted to set up a tool that monitors the site for broken stuff, but the task has always been pushed down on my to do list by higher priority tasks.
