No, just Adsense. But the just the idea that you can get no1 with tons of crap links after all the pandas and so on is crazy. One more thing this guy has over 200.000 pages indexed...

Has anyone made any changes and noticed any improvements yet?

On one of my sites which was affected I changed the theme because I figured it could be the reason for the loss in rankings seeing as it has a large header and therefore takes up a lot of space above the fold. When doing this, I removed my Adsense ads and an affiliate banner was removed during the change in theme as well.

Since I did this, on Saturday, I have noticed a few keywords moving up a few spots. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not.

Hi Benny, so far:

- I have removed my banner that was below the title. now I have 2 ads above the fold. On Skyscraper on the right sidebar and one rectangle on the left.
- Posted fresh unique content

I haven't seen any positive results whatsoever. Another thing I noticed is that the last time Google cached my pages was on the 16th. Would you mind checking what is the story with your pages.

Also "premium" adsense acc and their sites are intact. There are sites with 4 ads all above the fold ranking no1. :ballchain

Did you see what I just wrote? Premium publishers are not effected no matter how ugly their design is and how far you have to scroll/search to find what you are looking for.

Cache date is January 11. Was last crawled on the 22nd.

Hi Benny, I think we wont see improvement before G caches most the pages on the site. It pretty ridiculously but they stated it might take few weeks.

P.S Would you mind sharing what service/plugin you use to get the stats?
 
For cache date, I used SEO4FireFox. And for Crawl date, I used Magestic SEO. Yeah I know, I was just glad to see some positive movement after seeing all the keywords take a dive.
 
I remember Hubpages was/is a premium publisher and they are affected by Panda and other updates.

i did not change anything though i just got recovered a bit. though not good as before.
 
Yep i have been hited too! and also my earnings dropped! :( ... does someone knows some good practices in order to improve the layout of our pages??

I tweaked the .css and php on my wordpress themes, and I have to say they now look smooth as f**k! I also optimised my theme for speed, minified everything, got rid of all unused .css and speeded up the sites by almost double.

I also have no ads above the fold, but Google have been talking about this update coming for a while now.

The results of this have been astounding, more visitors, bounce rate used to be in the 70% range, now it's around 45%, considering that I have not changed the actual content at all.

I really believe that if you tweak your sites layout and theme to be stylish, user-friendly and unique it will make a positive impact on your bottom line.

I'm one of the lucky ones that was one step ahead of this update.

P.S. 1% of sites is still roughly over 3,500,000 websites.

This is the exact style of the site that took my place in spot #3. It just goes to show you that Google is F*ed.
