So what do you guys like more for your WordPress Blogs (if you use these plugins)?
All in One SEO
or
Yoast SEO/WordPress SEO by Yoast
I am using Yoast SEO right now and I love it. It has taught me so much about on page SEO. With All in One SEO, I didnt see any features that wowed me. Seems like it just allows more than one Keyword in the keyword box.
But, I also have a question. Kinda contradicts what I said above. Since I switched to Yoast, I have seen my traffic decrease. When I was using All in One SEO, I would sit, and spam the keyword box. This is when I just started my blog with no SEO experience. That somehow seemed to get me on top of Google. I was getting daily hits like mad, and my site quickly shot up in ranking.
Then, I stopped blogging for a few months, but it still seemed to get hits.
Then, I got back on it, uninstalled All in One SEO, and installed Yoast. I re-did all my on page SEO with the plugin, and it seemed to be better than ever. Looked very very nice. Well, after doing that, I noticed my site doesn't get a whole lot of traffic anymore. So, I am focusing on one main Keyword, semi-rare, and now I am going down in the ranks. But, with All in One SEO, the only thing I was doing, was spamming the keyword section with 100+ questions people would probably type in Google (I thought that was what it was for in the past). Somehow that got me right on top of Google for a really long time, or something happened, and I was ranked number 3 for my keyword? But, I came here, and learned a lot.
I have never really focused on off page SEO, cause it seemed All in One SEO, had me right on top of Google. Now, I cant find myself on any page, not Google, Yahoo, and Bing I am extremely far back in the pages, 40+.
Anyone know what happened?
Also, All in One, or Yoast? Why?
