So what do you guys like more for your WordPress Blogs (if you use these plugins)?

All in One SEO

or
Yoast SEO/WordPress SEO by Yoast

I am using Yoast SEO right now and I love it. It has taught me so much about on page SEO. With All in One SEO, I didnt see any features that wowed me. Seems like it just allows more than one Keyword in the keyword box.

But, I also have a question. Kinda contradicts what I said above. Since I switched to Yoast, I have seen my traffic decrease. When I was using All in One SEO, I would sit, and spam the keyword box. This is when I just started my blog with no SEO experience. That somehow seemed to get me on top of Google. I was getting daily hits like mad, and my site quickly shot up in ranking.
Then, I stopped blogging for a few months, but it still seemed to get hits.

Then, I got back on it, uninstalled All in One SEO, and installed Yoast. I re-did all my on page SEO with the plugin, and it seemed to be better than ever. Looked very very nice. Well, after doing that, I noticed my site doesn't get a whole lot of traffic anymore. So, I am focusing on one main Keyword, semi-rare, and now I am going down in the ranks. But, with All in One SEO, the only thing I was doing, was spamming the keyword section with 100+ questions people would probably type in Google (I thought that was what it was for in the past). Somehow that got me right on top of Google for a really long time, or something happened, and I was ranked number 3 for my keyword? But, I came here, and learned a lot.
I have never really focused on off page SEO, cause it seemed All in One SEO, had me right on top of Google. Now, I cant find myself on any page, not Google, Yahoo, and Bing I am extremely far back in the pages, 40+.

Anyone know what happened?

Also, All in One, or Yoast? Why?

When was the last time that you created fresh content for your blog?

This month, but before that I was absent for about 2 months. But, that never seemed to affect it. I was still just getting daily mass hits. Now switching, it seems my rank has dropped?

Yoast for me, so many features and always reminds you to get your page set up properly

OP, google has just released an update (about 10 days ago). Maybe your site was affected from that.

"Yoast seo" has many options while "all in one seo" uses one page simple configuration page. I hope you did not change title structure, meta descriptions etc.

No I didnt, I just transferred my data from all in one, to Yoast like he allows.
And yes, it was actually in the past few days. I saw the Google update, but didnt really think that hard. Probably affected me pretty hard. No worries though, I got a lot more original content to post, Hopefully I get ranked higher again :)
Thanks for that :)

Anyone else got anything to input in here :)
I like reading on WordPress SEO :)

Honestly they're both good options for WP SEO plug ins.

Yoast SEO for me.I used all in one seo but i decided to switch to yoast because of the many options it has.
But yeah all in all both are good :)

I use All in One SEO, but knowing about the other options is always helpful. Yoast seems worth a try in the future too.

Some are concerned that All in One SEO (due to its simplicity) may be leaving a footprint that will ultimately be punished by Google. If he case it is good that Yoast exists to perform the same functions, but with a greater range of options so that it may escape the footprint isue.
