Aliexpress dropshipping worth it?

Thanks for all your valuable opinions and tipps. I optimized my ads a bit and scaled a bit and i now have 3-5 sales per day. It's getting better!

I am doubting there is such a market that produces these kind of results in 3 months. Ebay and amazon are the only 2 marletplaces that do not require much advertising.

Also aliexpress dropshipping is so worth it. You can sell a $1 item for $10

You dont need anything at all. Just a few dollars for host/domain. You should be very strict to not spend the money at first cause paypal money take 1 month to become active in balance so the only thing left for work is credit card processor money

Wrong. It is much more safer to keep aside US$200 just in case. I would say US$500 would be sufficient. Expect the unexpected :)

You can doubt all you like! The only hint I'll give is that I sell something aimed at kids / teens. If you never figure it out, you'll never be my competition.
 
I research and select only highly profitable products to dropship so even if I end up spending more than expected on marketing, I still end up making a small profit.
 
Aliexpress works for me. The key is find the correct targeted markets. Without campaign I can earn $4k a month from 2 sites. And when I do heavy campaign it can reach $13k/month
 
I make like 100$ revenue a day now. The only problem is that i pay more for ads than i generate in profit.
I already did things like audience insights and so on but it somehow isn't enough. Any secrets on how to optimize or scale the right way?

Something that has (kinda) worked for me recently was setting a manual max bid. If you don’t do this, you should try. For example, if your ad is for conversions and you want to only spend $10 in ad spend for each purchase, put your max bid to $10. Its helped me keep my cost per conversion down. However, I wouldn’t say its a foolproof method or anything. It hasn’t worked for all my adsets.

Also, $300 in app expenses seems insane. Try cutting down these expenses. They can’t all be necessary?

NOTE: Setting your CPC to $10 does not guarantee each conversion will cost $10
 
id say a good amount of advertising budget would be around $1k for starters.
 
It's incredibly saturated now after all those herbalife and vine fgts on youtube started showing it to their newbie audience. But yeah, its still very profitable, just gotta put your own twist on it.

It can take a while to find a winning product and ad but stick at it and you'll get there eventually.

Any tipps on how to optimize my ads for a higher ROAS? Because atm it's at like 2:1 for me, which is just a break-even

Well, that's the thing. Most of them are necessary: UpSells for example help me with higher conversion, a tracking app for my customers, an app for creating bills for my customers + accounting, and email marketing apps for my email workflow, product reviews...
The other expenses are for legal matters.
 
Just don't give up now! 10 sales in one week is a good number at the beginning! Now try to make A/B testing for your ads and try to use Instagram for ads. Of course, if you want to be more noticable - BE EVERYWHERE. Chat in your niche communities forums, answer some niche related questions in quora, etc. be open minded and brainstorm new free channels to advertise maybe? Aliexpress dropshipping method still works!
