A few months ago, I started an OnlyFans Agency. Launching it in Japan, I quickly realized that finding models would be more challenging than I had anticipated. Many of the local girls I approached didn't speak English, which posed potential headaches(e.g. they cannot make TikTok contents in english). I decided to pivot, trying to find models remotely.

To widen my search, I shared OnlyFans tips on Instagram, hoping to attract potential models. Those who "liked" my posts received a DM from me. Unfortunately, this approach did not yield the desired results. Having heard success stories about Google Ads, I revamped my website to make it high-quality and invested around $1000 in advertising. Yet, the results remained elusive, with barely any worthwhile contacts.

The only model I managed to secure lived in Venezuela. She was in her 40s, overweight, and owned only a $100 smartphone. There's a saying that always resonated with me: "Blaming a lack of traffic on a model's appearance is often an excuse for an inefficient manager." Holding onto this belief, I proceeded to promote her on OnlyFans. However, our partnership was short-lived, as she stopped sending photos, claiming her phone had broken. This venture, unfortunately, resulted in zero earnings.

Left without a model and hesitant to spend more on ads, I turned to a Marketplace and purchased a model for $300. She had a low-quality smartphone, but she was enthusiastic and had a decent understanding of technology(she is a test developer). Also she got decent looks. Since she only had one phone, using a US sim for TikTok wasn't an option. Instead, I implemented the 'mother slave' approach on Instagram using an app cloner, handling up to 40 accounts. Although this theoretically allows for about 6000 actions(150 follows * 40 accs), it's super time-consuming, and I haven't observed any substantial paid subscriptions. To automate this process, I'm exploring appium, an android automate test software, though it's proving to be a lengthy endeavor.

On another front, my model started using Bumble with its passport feature, but it hasn't brought significant traffic. We've gained a few paid subscribers using Instagram ads, but it's been at a loss. My aim now is to generate profitable traffic.

It's been a daily grind, and sometimes I feel like I'm overcomplicating things. As a software engineer, I have a solid grasp of basic technologies. I can implement automation using APIs, chatbot, Airtable integration, and with Instagram's 'mother slave' approach, I possess techniques to avoid following the same individuals. However, despite these technological advantages, I confess that my skills in marketing sucks. If you have any advice for better marketing results, I'd truly appreciate it. One of the decisions I'm mulling over is whether to invest in a second-hand iPhone 11 for my model to use on TikTok. However, with expenses like monthly proxies and Ads already putting me in the red, I'm hesitant about making any more investments before turning a profit.

Seeking guidance on how to navigate this journey. Your insights are always welcome!

I've been reading about same and I'd suggest testing sources of traffic instead of putting a major amount in one source like you did with 40 accounts, try reddit, instagram, tiktok, twitter with different methods but not in scale, then see which ones yield results and double down on that, that's the basic approach

Hi mate,
I feel your struggles and trials and errors, i've been down the road of Instagram MS, it has been very time consuming as you said, and did not yield results
About recruitment, i think advertisement is the way to go, it works for me at least !
We're currently trying with dating apps, we want to scale it to get profitable, and also tiktok.
We keep other promotion channel for a later time to get more focus until we master these subjects !
As a software engineer, i'm sure there is a lot that you could do and others can't
Dm me if you want to discuss about it
Cheers,

Just being real with you: Why in the world would you spend money on something you know nothing about. If you KNOW you aren't very good at marketing, why wouldn't you watch YouTube videos or bootleg a course before you spent money.

I literally spent about a month learning on YouTube the in's and outs of everything, thinking I was 100% prepared and it STILL wasn't enough. I'm on my 2nd month managing models and I'm still learning daily. Learn until you feel confident, then start looking for a model, you did things backwards lol. Also if you MUST pay for outreach, which you shouldn't anytime soon, insta ads or hiring VA's to cold dm people. Don't buy models, rookie mistake. Also join discord and tele groups.

Interesting journey. Strange you were unsuccessful in Japan, this should be a huge market. Do you speak Japanese?
So your legal company (K.K.?) is in Japan and you target models internationally now?

as a person who works in this field that you aim to accomplish greatness, I can give you insider feedback.

1. Be smart with your ads. Every model and their model is using instagram and tiktok and whatever else so your girl is only one in a million unless she has stunning quality and body.

Also regular instagram or other official paid ads do not work in this niche. It is all about blackhat methods.

+ Something wrong with your mother+slave method if you did not gain any profits.

2. Do not be afraid of partnering up with others. You know your flaws which is great first step. Now find someone who knows about the things you have no clue about. Or connect with other agencies or their representatives. Share ideas, dont try to hide everything. Give value in exchange for value.

If you are a certified software engineer, all you need is a man with a plan and then you do the implementation. There are a lot places where just knowing little basic coding will yield you great results.

Either way, I will stay and follow your journey and of course help a little if required.

"Blaming a lack of traffic on a model's appearance is often an excuse for an inefficient manager." this phrase is half true, you can get her traffic but is it worth it. See my last thread post via my profile, we do also run reddit services for some models but if she is not good looking for example freesubs, bad content + ugly: 500free sub a month, good looking good content: 5k free subs/month.

Good looking model is really important and if she is willing to make content, if not your business will die in no time.

Free subs are worth less than proxies you used to gain them.

Whenever you start something new, there will be problems. You will learn to tackle them with time.

I would recommend you and everyone that is looking to start in this field:
Dont start with everything from zero and spend money searching a model..

For most people its just too much without any experience:
- Traffic
- Chatting
- Model management
- etc.

Better to partner up with a model/agency in the begin for a fix amount/cut. So you have no risk and dont need to spend much money and can find out what is working for you and what not. And a lot of times if you are good the model/agency will recommend you, and you dont have to worry about model recruitment etc. anymore.

About the girl with bad camera - see first if she is consistent enough with the tiktoks and if she has the needed energy for that. If so, then it is worth investing in a good quality setup, including phone. TikTok is bombing in terms off traffic if done properly.

A foreigner in Japan trying to get local women to go into sex work for him, while he offers zero expertise and guidance.

Bro, this is really the best you could dream of doing with your time and breath?

Porn as itself is big in Japan, as you know, however, that doesn't mean they know about OF. Nobody speak english here.
Of course, there are a few OF huge creators in Japan but they are already represented by huge foreign agencies.
These girls don't know anything about OF. They are just told "it's fan website and when you upload photos, you get money".
So, it was very hard to find small OF creators.
I don't have regal company. I speak Japanese as my first language.

Thanks for comment!

Yeah I watched loads of videos on youtube before I start such as OBH and Nathan Aston. I actually joined Nathans community. But it was still not enough to get lot's of traffics.
Of course they don't share everything in course because if they do, things are going to be patched immediately. So no one wins.
I guess I need to try and find a way by ourselves daily.

if you know a good way to outreach online for free, please teach me. I'm here to learn.

Yeah, I guess I should find a partner which create traffic like you suggest.
I will look around bhw to find those service.

Just find diff communities on discord and tele like https://t.me/+0S0KMDUlKUoyMWIx

Thanks. I recently bought a refurbished iphone 11 for my current model which is better than her old samsung but still not enough quality.
I will invest more if she is consistent with Tiktok. Thanks.
