Can I upload covers of songs generated by AI to YouTube without getting copyright strike? Something like spongebob sing some song, or some AI generated voice?

Most of the AI models out there, have a license attached to them, meaning whether you can use them commercially. Example, Meta (Facebook) has released its text-to-text model for free. So just check the license on the model you're using.

As a music distribution platform owner I can tell you why, the original song's copyright holder retains the rights to the music and lyrics. Even if the performance is AI-generated, using the music without permission can trigger a strike.
Additionally, no platform wants to deal with AI-generated spam. Therefore, we will reject all low-quality AI-generated songs to maintain a fair playing field.

I've heard that some songs are copyrighted, but I think some sounds or songs are not copyrighted. You have to try
