Hey
I’m running tests to compare AI-generated content vs human-written content, but results seem mixed. For those who’ve tested this recently, which one ranks better long-term? Any patterns, factors, or surprises you’ve noticed?

From what I’ve seen, there’s no fixed winner. AI content can rank well if it’s edited, made unique, and actually helps users. Pure AI without real value usually drops over time. Human-written content still performs better for depth, originality, and staying power.

In 2025, both can rank, but AI-only content fades fast, while human-edited content stays stable

Best mix, AI for draft human for polishing.

You can not say exactly which one is better. Sometimes AI-generated content ranks, sometimes human-written content.

In niches where trust matters finance, health, legal, reviews human content consistently outperforms my AI tests. Google seems to reward real experience and personal opinions way more in 2025.

No meter AI or Human, To rank google you must have to write content with proper value i mean, you have to write to the point. Cover full topic and think if you are a traffic and how you would be happy. Just it.

AI content can rank fast but usually doesn’t last long without editing. Human-written content performs better over time. Best results come from editing AI content by hand. Short, clear human content often beats long AI content.

Unedited AI content often falls short. When refined by a knowledgeable writer, it can be effective, yet expert-written content remains the highest quality.

u must get human touch to ai content if you really want it to rank

AI generated content can perform in search but the most consistent results come from content polished by humans to ensure relevance value and engagement

From what I’ve seen, both can rank. AI content ranks fast, but only if you edit it well and add real value. Human content ranks slower, but it stays stable long-term. The real winners in 2025 are mixed posts AI draft + human editing + strong EEAT signals. That combo beats pure AI and pure human in most niches. Without real value and solid information, both AI and human content become useless to Google. So add real value in your article whatever it's human or AI written!

Mix of both :)

I've done many tests here.
1. Some of my AI content ranks on page #1, many pages in top 5. But those AI articles take me about 4 hours on average to prepare.
2. Sometimes, I run tests... prepare an article using AI (quickly) then post it, if it hits top 30, I contact my writer to write it properly and it moves within top 15.
The most important thing here: IT ALL COMES DOWN TO HOW GOOD YOUR WRITER IS. Those writers who can write on any topic are generally rubbish so you won't get the benefits of the hand-written content. And that's why sometimes AI articles might perform better than from humans.

From my tests, human-written content with unique insights still wins long-term. AI content needs heavy editing for E-E-A-T to rank. The tool user is the real ranking factor.

it’s not really AI vs human both can rank as long as the content satisfies intent, has topical depth, and supports authority.

I also got mixed results. I think it also depends on niche as well. Some niche works better on ai content others not.
